Irrespective every team that walks out on to the park wants to win. You failed at the first hurdle.

When West Torrens and Woodville merged did the SANFL consider finding another club to fill the void?

last time i checked, 1 point is shiraz all compared to 6 pointsGod is an Englishman wrote:Bacon888 wrote:I don't have to admit that. Why is it wrong?
There's a huge target worth 1 point, but if you get more accurate, we will give you 6. It's rewarding accuracy, not mediocrity.
it reminds me of primary school sport, they give you a medal for participation.
You've missed what you're aiming for. You should get shiraz all! not a point for having a try.

If you are playing for the Division 1 Jackpot, why take the rewards for missing?God is an Englishman wrote:Bacon888 wrote:

because I am playing for any profit, I wouldn't consider a division 7 to be a "miss". It's like an EACH WAY bet

Very wet day at Richmond, very low scoring and one real bizarre goal decision where the goal umpire was adamant it was a goal and awarded a point. What a joke! Show some balls you wanker.

Hot day at AAMI stadium today. Unfortunately West Adelaide's game was over at quarter time.

I think we can, but only to be punished again in two weeks' time. Norwood are a class apart.

Re: SANFL
6,000 approx. for a double-header at the empty-looking 50,000-capacity AAMI on 14/9/13.
Then 9,000 approx. for a double-header there on 21/9/13.
Did they consider playing these pre-grand final games at the suburban grounds of the highest-ranked teams of the home-and-away season?
And what's with the SANFL G.F. being always held AFTER the national competition AFL G.F.? You would have thought the national league grand final would be the finale, the last game of the season.

Personally I would have preferred to play a local ground, but whether the grand final is before or after the other one is of no concern to me. They are two different competitions.

Re: SANFL
After last week's (29/9) Prelim. Final was only attended by approx. 5,000 people in that 50,000 capacity stadium, maybe the SANFL is wanting to make sure the G.F. doesn't crack 20,000 in what is likely to be a warm day with the temp. in the high 20s...bubu wrote:Surely they got to be kidding???AAMI Stadium Admission

I was actually considering going to this, being the last game at AAMI etc.Con M wrote:After last week's (29/9) Prelim. $30 does seem a bit rich, but I suppose its not much difference to an A-League game at Hindmarsh, and at least the bar service will be far superior.
