abe let a good player slip through their hands that wanted to play for them, but they never got back to him with any details for regn or training or anything! some clubs have poor organisational skills and lack communication as well.

Maybe its because these clubs are fielding U16 sides. Probably the JPL age group to watch out for this season. Stong sides entered by Adelaide City,ABE ,Modbury,SASI Girls.

I had similar thoughts on another subject, next year would then be back to normal, could be good for retaining players longer as some may not drop out when forced to make a two year jump from 15s to 17s :?:

no names, just surprised that so many posts on ABE U17's looking for players when i was told a good young player wanted to join them, but they never got back to him - he left contact details, just no followthrough from ABE. I was using it as an example for the sometimes lack of communication and poor admin in some clubs (not having a go at abe - they are one of the better managed clubs), word of mouth is probably used much too often because they happen to hang around the same circles imho. So, if you are not in the loop bad luck.
the player they let slip has signed elsewhere (an A team) and has settled in extremely well I hear, so no loss for him he's better off.
