He re-signed a 1 year deal, so i'd say Gareth isn't.

Has he actually signed?

If he has its just a sympathy deal. He will try and be a hero and get Spurs into Champions league again (which wont happen) And then will 100% leave, why waste another year at that hole?

He signed a new four year contract at the end of last season so they don't have to sell him, whatever they're offered. Of course, the reality of keeping an unsettled player is somewhat different. Reportedly, he's agreed to stay for next year, but with a £50m release clause to come into effect at the end of the 2014. Seems fair to both club and player.

I only hope Wenger displays his usual ineptitude in the transfer market and they end up buying nobody.

The pressure is on him to spend this summer. He enters the last 12 months of his contract, so I believe the first 6 months is vital for Mr Wenger. How well will do might be the difference between how long & if he gets another bumper deal..

Just like Fergie, Wenger will want to leave Arsenal with his head held high on his own terms not be sacked or forced out

Bloody hell,

I'd take that money, put it under Harry Redknapp's dog's name, and buy some players!

With that much to spend I think Spurs would be a force to be reckoned with next season ( IE: a team with a striker lol).
