I do like that last Bridge though, saw him play a good match for Leeds back in their glory days.
Personally I think your the prick they forfeited a B cup game as it was drawn on a Saturday and they play Sundays. They gave plenty of notice. The team that "won" due to the forfeit is fine your the only one with a serious problem
Me... I think you have no Idea....but that is just me....
I still say why enter the cup if by chance you get drawn on a Saturday you can't field a side????
It is no problem for me personally....It is the principle that irks me...
What don't you understand when I say THIS PARTICULAR SATURDAY. Get it through your thick skull. This might come as a shock to you but last year our ressies were drawn to play Saturday. We had enough players to field a team that weren't working. You see how this whole thing works?? Availability to play saturdays is not exactly a pre requisite when signing up to play Sundays. If we can field a team we would've.

A lot of our players have work commitments you nonce, hence why we play Sunday's.
This is the excuse you used........So they only work some Saturdays you are now trying to tell us???? :?
A lot of our players do. They don't always work though. You've chosen to ignore the numerous other times I tried to tell you. Do I need to quote myself??
Why can't you just drop it?

I'll defend Seaford here... Some of the players are involved with the Feds on a volunteer basis also ...
Again if your club isn't affected by the forfeit move on ...

I'm done on this topic. Time to get ready for the derby game. Enjoy the rest of your season. I for one hope no team ever forfeits against Vipers; we'll never hear the end of it

Whats the big deal, they forfeited with plenty of time. Fair enough, get your shiraz over it IF they stood you up on the day, but otherwise pull your finger out and support you first if they played on the day.
Seaford boys, great bunch of lads, good club people, always up for a good game, we have played them for years... shit happens sometimes, at least they gave notice... i can bet had they got the numbers they would have showed up....
i really dont see the reason for such a stir up...
Take it easy Hatchet

As people have said all along, pulled out with plenty of nice so well done for doing that. BUT they have basically said they were always going to puill out if they got a saturday club.
So, why even enter the competition.
Didn't the league say that teams would be banned from the cup for doing this this year.

i didnt see anyone saying they were "always going to pull out"....basically or not...
i did see Hatchet say that they didnt have enough available players....

We got 2 forfeits in round 1 & 2 last year, they gave advance notice, no big deal
I saw one of them lost this cup round 16-0 this year,
I'm happy if someone wants to forfeit next round also
