Disappointing result today for us at Salisbury Villa regardless of having players out. We controlled most of the first half and deserved to go one up. Mistakes at the back cost us big time today (3 goals), credit to Pontians for capitalizing and taking their chances. Difference in teams was Pontians ran out the game, we didn't, and Pontians tackled hard, we didn't. Pontians worthy winners in the end. Good run out today for a few of our first gamers who did well.

Good luck to Pontians reserves for the rest of the cup.

Cracking game at Lion with both teams having chances to win in it in the last 10mins.

A Grade - USC Lion 4 v Adelaide Uni (2) 3

Lion was up midway through 2nd Half 2-1 then Uni scored 2 quick goals ( 1 with the help of a handball buts that's football). Then Lion scored with 5 to make it 3-3 and Uni had a great chance to win it when keeper dropped a high ball and the Uni striker missed a open goal about 2m out. Then with the last play of normal time from a corner Lion scored with a cracking header to put Lion ahead 4-3 and then as soon as play restarted ref blew for full time.
