Gully apparently up 2 nil then ref sends a player of for something soft, changes the game. Just what I heard ! Don't know who the ref was ? Anyway apparently good effort by the very young Gully lads. Well done lads !! Wish I was there !!

Was a last man challenge, we took a player off at half time so it was 10 v 10. Brad French was referee.

Gardens v Fulham

A Team

5-0

B Team

4-1

Gardens looked good - Fulhams 1st real test and a gd 1 to have a month out from the season - plenty to work on but time to get it right.

Good game at Ingle Farm today, Polonia leading 3-1 at one stage with the Farm's fitness showing in the end to come back with 3 goals and make it 4-3.
We are very happy with what we showed and i thought we held our own today even without our super star :D
Good hospitality at the farm, it was nice to have a cold Guiness after a hard slog.

brahma v downs

1-2 in the bs i think
0- 5 in as

good hitout for all teams, not a lot in the ressies game with brahma getting a player sent off in the 1st half but downs shading us for the win.

a grade a little bit more one sided with some quality finishes from the downs lads but the brahma did perform quite well but couldnt find the net unlike the downs who were far more clinical in front of goals.

the day was soured early with the plane crash across the road wich probably spun everyone out from both clubs and really the football was second for the day after that. good luck for the downs for the season they will be up and there abouts again.

Raptors vs Elizabeth Grove

Reserves 1-2 : Raptors took the lead and then conceded a goal from a corner and another one ten minutes from the end, well done to Grove not sure they had any subs in this game ?

A's 0-2 : Two late goals sealed the win for Grove.

Two good games, played in good spirits, special thanks to Alex from West Adelaide for use of their pitch, always obliging.

Good luck to Grove in 2013.

Thoughts go out for the pilot of the plane that lost his life. And special thoughts to the Downs lads (Steedy and Jeff) that went to the scene to see if they could help...never easy to react and take in a scene like that :(

Crazy scene thankfully it wasn't a hundred metres closer. Won't forget that in a hurry nor the look on steedys face a minute or so later after he scaled the fence to see if he could help. Really feel for him and the other lad.

Someone mentioned on facebook that they couldn't make the game because a spitfire crashed in the road ahead.

I assumed he meant a Triumph Spitfire, not a plane. SHIT! Not many of those planes left flying now. Got to feel for the pilots family. Well done to all those who tried to help.

Thanks to Jets for hosting the games.
WTF? Uni Div1 side??
No.

This was against our Div 3's

Uni's Prem A's lost 1-0 to Inter in the Preseason Cup on Fri.
C's beat B's 3-2 in an internal trial on Sat. Whoot.
Because everyone needs one.
