Rodwell makes clearly contact with both his ankles sliding in at speed, ball won but that's a dangerous tackle (shouldn't have been a red). How on earth you can dispute contact there I'll never know.

I remember watching the Szcescny penalty live and they had slow-mo zoom cameras that replayed the penalty from all angles, which left no doubt that Szcesny made contact before pulling his leg away.

I mean I was expecting dozens like Ivanovic's dive last week or like Bale vs Liverpool or one of Young's penalties or Wellbeck against Wigan...lift your game buddy you're trolling yourself now

what about the feigning injury, that's part of the diving. Rodwell there's contact but no way enough to be hurt, the same with the penalty.

Then we have the middle one, going down is an afterthought. Even if there was contact, he takes a few steps before his balance even starts to go.

Going down should be left for the bedroom and never a term for the football pitch.

Why in God's name would you put the Aston Villa keeper in? A traffic cone would be more effective at keeping the ball out, even Godders would be an improvement.

Ben Foster is the West Brom goalkeeper, and he is yet to play. His game is tonight, away against Aston Villa

Suarez was clearly fouled last night. Should have had a penalty. Same for Torres.

Torres caught the defenders leg, but he kicked the defenders leg, it's not like Kocielny was actually making a tackle ( i think it was Kocielny).

It wasn't a pen, but there was some contact, he didn't dive.

Also Juan Mata is the best!

That came after he was stamped on (not in the area). he also could have gone down with another challenge but stayed up to try and go on and score.

He is not getting blatant fouls so he may as well and try and get ones he doesn't deserve!

The situation is a joke, he doesn't get anything. But he shouldn't try and buy decisions either.

I would say it looks like there was contact that knocked him off balance and then he looks to go down after that. He's dived in my opinion but with the stuff that's gone on it looks to him being extenuating the going down to try and ensure he gets the decision.

Care to post gifs of him being stamped on by Huth? Or the dozens of other fouls on him throughout the game?

suarez is in the worst position, he gets hacked no pen, he enhances how bad it was to show he should get a pen and doesn't get a pen, he goes down without a fuss and gets no pen. plus he wears a liverpool shirt every week. if ashley young came to liverpool he would get the same treatment and the mancs weekly dose of humor would be young's diving in the news. this is life

Sorry but that's one of the worst dives I've ever seen. The reason he doesn't get decisions is because he carries on like this. I'm not saying he's the only one either as Young at United had a couple of bad ones last season that were embarrassing.

You can't defend this in any way

Jimbob, watch the game and then comment. Don't judge by one GIF, he didn't even appeal, he looked like a fool, I ma not sure he was looking for a pen TBH.

I think the second movement is a terrible dive, the first movement though looks like contact to me.

Rubbish, stop defending divers. He was looking for it, see him look up, stretch his hands out to see if the ref is going to give anything. He and Bale are in the same boat, they continually get hacked, often don't get given as fouls and opposing players rarely get the bookings they deserve BUT, I still can't stand divers.

Bale's effort against Guzan yesterday was embarrassing.
