All Clubs are different;
Some force you to have everything they offer, bag, tracksuits, tops etc meaning you pay close to $900
Some will force you to have just a tracksuit or something, so you pay apx $700
Some will just charge apx $500, but supply everything you can get at other clubs if you want it.

So if you want a saving there are clubs that will charter to your needs but all clubs will be $500 - $1000 for juniors. At the end of the day if you go the cheapest and buy all their clothing (tracksuit$100 - bag$40 - rainjacket$40 - club polo$35 - club fleece$50 - Big coach jackets$80) you are looking at close to $900 anyway.

Generally, I think the answer is yes.

More money filtering down to Aussie Rules clubs from the top and probably a bit better at getting sponsorship.

Winston's experience for junior Aussie Rules was around the $150 mark, plus approx $50 for umpires fees paid separately once the season started.

Player had to buy their own shorts and socks, club provided a playing top which was returned to the club at the end of the season. Track suit top and bag was additional.

$150 and buy your own apparel....Makes it very affordable to more people.

Cove last year was between 400-500 if I remember correctly. That included named kit and bag, training shirt, socks, jacket.
