It would appear that most Australians have also forgotten how to.
Likely to be the worst performance in the pool for 20 years.
This article just about sums up the arrogance of Australia at these Olympics

Just 48 hours later the Brits have 5 in the bag and Australia how many.............

I believe it was an Australian newspaper that made the comparison not me.
Logic and context are not your strong points, just as swimming is no longer Australia's.

I can see why there is an improvement with the poms in swimming. The Aussie coaches have cottoned on, telling them, the quicker you swim, the quicker you can get out of the water! Working a treat I see.

If you tried thinking logically for once, you'd realise I've already answered your question.

It's a noun... insincere, especially conventional expressions of enthusiasm for high ideals !
In many ways you might be mistaken for a cant !

I will refer to Hawkesys argument in the Wild West of 3 times the population so GB must end up with 3 times
the medal count of Oz in Sydney......Still plenty of time to go and will judge at the end...
GB even have 3 times the countries so it should be a shoe in....

Think on this occassion silence would have been golden, at least until the final medal tally. Never under estimate the British spirit!
