Re: Worst player to ever represent the Socceroos?
Brosque did some reasonable work but he's no attacker, loses the ball too much.
Re: Worst player to ever represent the Socceroos?
given the shift he put in tonight i think we can be happy with him for nowbarchetta wrote:Brosque did some reasonable work but he's no attacker, loses the ball too much.

Re: Worst player to ever represent the Socceroos?
Worst performance I can remember in a Socceroo shirt was from Topor-Stanley a few years back.
Re: Worst player to ever represent the Socceroos?
Its wasn't socceroos and it may have been mentioned already. Archie during the 2008 Olympics. The bloke was running round like a headless chook. How he got a gig there over Bruce and Burns I'll never know. Every single time the ball went his way it was a turn over. In the end he resorted to taking all the throw ins just to get his successful pass numbers up, I don't think I've ever seen a centre forward wanting to take throw ins before or since. Pathetic is a compliment to that performance.
If he goes to Brazil in 2014 I'm going for another country!

Looks like your country is a bigger joke than my club.

I was talking about your country. The only joke bigger then them is the fact FIFA consider them 4th in the world.God is an Englishman wrote:

And I will retort with a fact, it was a friendly where England made 11 subs and played a team of kids.Bomber wrote:To steal a quote used more often by others, "all I have done is stated a fact".God is an Englishman wrote:Bomber wrote:England 1 this joke 3 last time round.

James (Robinson 45), Neville (Mills 45), Ferdinand (Brown 45), Campbell (King 45), Ashley Cole (Konchesky 45), Beckham (Hargreaves 45), Lampard (Murphy 45), Scholes (Jenas 45), Dyer (Vassell 45), Beattie (Jeffers 45), Owen (Rooney 45).
Subs Not Used: Wright, Joe Cole, Upson, Parker, Davis
Didn't start with a team of kids.
It was only a friendly.
We made the final of our regional tourney, you made the quarters

Haha yes! Plus even if we forget that game as yes we all can put it down as a friendly. England has the best domestic league in the world head and shoulder above the rest. Yet if you assembled the national side in one club they would probably be relegated! How can a country with such a fantastic league be happy they just made it out of the group stage of the euro? I would love to see how good the league would be though if you took away for international superstars and billionaire owners.Stupid Mole wrote:

They did, but a game lasts 45 minutes not 90. Is that fact ok?Stupid Mole wrote:Didn't the kids do better than the first eleven?God is an Englishman wrote:And I will retort with a fact, it was a friendly where England made 11 subs and played a team of kids.Bomber wrote:To steal a quote used more often by others, "all I have done is stated a fact".

A club in the championships worst player wasn't even mentioned in your national teams worst. Does that mean australia is League One standard?
