With a few preseason games under everyone's belts, who will be the early favourite in Saturday and Sunday premier leagues?

Where did that comment go about Easts???
Anyway if we go on pre season form Vista and Downs would be challenging I suppose. Gardens will be hunted and favourite because they are the champs, Farm always around the mark been top 3 last 4 years I think, Pontians can they back it up from their best year last year, Vale seemed to have picked up a lot younger and new players, Inter have signed a few recently as have Fulham, heard the asian striker from Grove has left but they have signed sammy so they will be tough to beat and better for the run last year and East having Beaman in charge will have a fit and organised side. Florina they... oops their in div 2... sorry this topic is for the Premier league team
(Just taking the piss from our rivals before you all start)
Cant see a weak team at all and this year will be very tough.

Farm and Saints to win.
Re: 2012 Predictions
my tips as follows:
Downs to be up there.
Gardens will come good and be around the mark - dont take pre-season form too seriously.
Inter to struggle.
Vista to comfortably stay up.
Fulham to be competitive and not be fighting for relegation in the last couple of games.
Farm to drop out of the top 4 this season and Pontians will not back up there form from last season - losing there keeper was a big loss for them.
Vale I am not sure what to expect.
Grove will fight to stay up as well.
East will be competitive under Beamen but watch the knives come out for him if they dont get a decent start.

Air and Campbell very big losses for the farm but don't forget we finished top 3 for consecutive seasons without them. Very even league this year and will be closer than years gone by me thinks

judging on performances and recruiting, id say something this. Gardens, Grove and Vale all look on par so a tight season ahead.
Re: 2012 Predictions
Due to the lack of televised games, Advertiser reports, training attendances, squad listing and ins and outs.....I wouldn't have a clue how the year might pan out......would be more like wishing and guessing !

Re: 2012 Predictions
The league will consist of 3 groups in my eyes......
and in no particular order: I'd see the title going to one of these 3
Downs, Farm or Gardens
Motts has assembled a formidable squad this season and has the pedigree to know what it takes to win the big gold thing,
the Farm under Simo are always gonna be hard to beat and they still have quality players with Cocksy, Jonesy, Clarky, Toby, and
my tip for the player of the year Evan Emmanuel to give it a serious shot.
Gardens are the title holders and have a great fighting spirit, cast them off at your peril.
The next group who in my eyes are definitively safe and may, just may challenge for a shot at the top 3 are my dark horses for 2012.
Vista, Inter, Vale, and Grove
All are good enough to give it a shot and have proven over the pre season that they are keen to give it a crack
but they may lack the experience needed to stay competitive for an entire season, they won't go down unless they have serious problems
which I can't see.
It all depends on the player mentality and longevity of their desire.
Vista and Inter have recruited very well, will play very well and are both coached by seasoned campaigners.
Grove are a serious dark horse, I just have a feeling about them this year...it might just click you never know.
The next group are my tips to struggle
Pontian , PHE, and Fulham.
I'm still not impressed with Beaman as a coach, wasn't back in his westies days and still not now....rumours of players being played when they don't train
and losing players of the caliber of Mogg, Hutchy and Miller will be hard on them, I like the club and the people there but its
gonna be a huge culture change for them this season, how they react to that, I'm unsure and I hope I'm wrong, and I'd be happy to be proved wrong.
Pontian and Fulham are both great clubs but the league this year is arguably the strongest its been for years
and if you look back over the years both of these clubs have struggled to maintain consistency and this year that might cost them
hugely.
Very very tight at the top, I can't wait to be honest.
All the best to those involved, enjoy it, its gonna down as one of the best ever
and in no particular order: I'd see the title going to one of these 3

Re: 2012 Predictions
Without Question this year will be one of the most competitive Div.1 Sun. I can remember.
I believe with a little bit of luck any of the 10 Clubs can win this years Title...
Gardens will be up against it again this season with every Club bringing there A-Grade game to play the current League Champions...
Winning Div.1 League Titles are incredibly difficult you need to keep your best 11 on the park week in week out, which we have been able to do over the past 2 season. I believe Injury & Suspension will play a huge part in this years Championship & if Garden get some Luck with that we'll be at the pointy end come the end of the season.
Theres no doubt Motts knows what it takes to win Championships, & it looks like his assembled a strong squad who'll push Gardens all the way to the end of the season.
Farm, Vale & Pontians to finish off the Top 5. I believe the Title will be decided on the last game of the season.
Good Luck to All Players & Clubs this coming season....
Especially the Mighty Gardens!

Sunday Premier will be a close one this year.Gardens or Downs are my tips to win it.Vista are the dark horses.... A very good, young side and will be up there but inexperience will be their undoing(if they keep the same squad for the next 2-3 yrs, watch out!).Fulham's luck will finally run out this year and are my definite favorites for relegation possibly with Easties or Pontians.
