That is a terrible deflection of the points raised above. Care to respond to this question... "If Suarez and Balotelli are diving cheats, what does that make Rooney?".
I don't expect a coherent answer.

What's not to love????
"Afterwards Mancini was asked about rumours that Balotelli, dressed in a Santa outfit, had spent Saturday night driving round Manchester giving money to homeless people. "With Mario, it's possible," he replied."

Re: Balotelli Appreciation Thread
^ Laughed hard when I heard the rumours about that. He's such a legen....until he signs for your club.

The curious case of Mario Balotelli took a new twist this afternoon when he bizarrely burst in on an Inter Milan press conference.
The Manchester City striker, who used to play for the Italian giants, made his unexpected appearance as new manager Andrea Stramaccioni was being unveiled.
The 21-year-old parked a red Ferrari outside the press briefing, burst in and for reasons still unknown simply shook hands with those behind the top table, wished the new manager luck, and left without so much as an explanation.
Inter CEO Ernesto Paolillo, who travelled to London with the NextGen-winning youth squad last week, said the visit from the Manchester City striker was unexpected but not unusual.
‘He came to say hello to everybody at the training centre then left,’ Paolillo told Sportsmail. ‘We did not know he was coming but it’s not the first time. It’s typical of Mario. I see him sometimes when he comes to Milan.
‘I did not see the Ferrari as I was inside the press conference unveiling our new coach Andrea. We kissed hello and he left. We had no time to speak. I’ve known him at Inter since he was a young boy.’
Balotelli and the rest of his City team-mates have been given a couple of days off by manager Roberto Mancini, who himself jetted to Europe where he was seen in Bosnia.
After the commotion, Stramaccioni hailed his appointment as Claudio Ranieri's replacement as 'a dream come true'.

BALOTELLI'S MANCHESTER CITY CRIME SHEET
CAR CRASH (August 2010): Just days after signing for City, Balotelli hits the headlines after crashing his Audi R8 en route to the club's training ground. Balotelli is found to be carrying £5,000 in cash at the time of the accident and when police ask why, he reportedly replies: 'Because I am rich.'
FIRST RED CARD (November 2010): Balotelli scores his first Premier League goals in a 2-0 win at West Brom but the achievement is marred when he sees red following a clash with Youssuf Mulumbu.
WILSHERE SNUB (December 2010): City boss Roberto Mancini says Balotelli must change his attitude following his claims he had never heard of Jack Wilshere after beating the Arsenal midfielder to FIFA's young player of the year award.
DART-THROWING INCIDENT (March 2011): Balotelli again hits trouble after it emerges he threw a dart at a City youth-team player. No one was hurt in the incident and he escapes punishment.
SECOND RED CARD (March 2011): Balotelli apologises to his team-mates after he is sent off during a Europa League tie with Dynamo Kiev for a reckless challenge on Goran Popov.
BACK-HEEL BLUNDER (July 2011): Balotelli is immediately substituted by an enraged Mancini after performing a pirouette and back-heeling wide when clean through on goal in a pre-season friendly against the Los Angeles Galaxy.
FIREWORK INCIDENT (October 2011): The Italian has another run-in with the emergency services after a firework is set off in the bathroom of his home, triggering a fire. The next day, he scores in the Manchester derby and celebrates by revealing a T-shirt which reads: 'Why always me?'
THIRD RED CARD (November 2011): The third red card of Balotelli's City career arrives in a league match against Liverpool, the 21-year-old dismissed for two yellow cards.
BREAKING CURFEW (December 2011): Balotelli breaks a club 48-hour curfew by visiting a curry house ahead of a match against Chelsea.
RICHARDS CLASH (December 2011): Just days after Balotelli's curfew lapse, he again attracts negative headlines after pictures emerge of a training-ground bust-up with team-mate Micah Richards.
PARKER CLASH (January 2012): Balotelli was charged with violent conduct by the FA, and subsequently handed a four-match ban, after appearing to stamp on the head of Tottenham's Scott Parker during a Premier League match.
INTER PRESS CONFERENCE (March 2012): Balotelli gatecrashes the press conference to announce the arrival of Andrea Stramaccioni as Inter's new coach.
FOURTH RED CARD (April 2012): Balotelli sees red for two bookable challenges on Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna. Also guilty of a shocking first-half knee-high challenge on Gunners midfielder Alex Song

Poor form Mancini, Mario is being used as the scapegoat! Yes dont agree with Mario's actions but Poor management from Mancini, should of dragged him halftime let alone take the risk of starting him after saying you can't trust him.
Also bozza hit the nail on the head prior to the game... Making 6 changes and still not knowing your best 11 at this time of the year & you could see no fluency no team spirit & they all look like there just after their next pay slip

Spot on Haywood,Mancini has lost the plot. You could tell straight away Mario was wound up,flying recklessly into tackles.Almost looked like he wanted to get sent off, wasn't even tracking back. Sagna was having a field day on the right wing and in the first 15 mins or so you could see Clichy and Lescott yelling at him.Mancini has to take some of the blame for Mario's petulance,TBH the guy isn't worth the trouble.haywood djablowme wrote:Poor form Mancini, Mario is being used as the scapegoat! Exactly what we were saying in the pub.
Re: Balotelli Appreciation Thread
so it's fine if you are being a disgrace and behave like a d1khdad on the pitch. Cos off the field, u could just pump up everyone's car in the petrol station than you will be a legend.Vale_boy05 wrote:The guy is an absolute legend!!!

But now that you have, i might as well put my 2cents in. Mario has a bucket load of talent but doesnt have the head for it. I still think with the right manager the guy would excel.
Did Cantona's double foot into the crowd erase all his moments of magic on the pitch?

Even Mourinho had a tough time managing him.
Not sure too many managers could tbh.
Prandelli has a tough call to make for the Euro's.

Player who won’t play for Man City again to be replaced by player who won’t play for Man City again, reveals Mancini
Man City manager Roberto Mancini has insisted that controversial striker Mario Balotelli won’t play for the club again, with Carlos Tevez, who has recently returned to first team action after a spell of not playing for the club ever again, set to replace him.
Balotelli infuriated Mancini with a performance that mirrored all his previous performances for the title-challengers.
“Mario has left me with no choice but to not play him ever again,” he said.
“I’m not sure how long that will be at this stage, but it will definitely be never again.”
Carlos Tevez, who Mancini claimed would never play for the club again after refusing to come on as a substitute in a Champions League match against Bayern Munich, has spoken of his relief that his period of never playing for Man City again has come to an end.
“Not playing for the club ever again has almost felt like forever,” he said.
“Never again playing for Man City and Roberto Mancini being finished with me for good has been a difficult time.”
“But now that definite period of never ever playing for Man City again while Mancini is manager is over I can just get back to playing for Man City again under Mancini.”
Balotelli has revealed his disappointment at not playing for Man City ever again by setting fire to a skip.
“I’m sad that I won’t play for Man City ever again,” he said.
“Hopefully when I’ve finished never playing for Man City again, I can start playing for them again,” he added before driving his sports car at high speed into a fireworks factory.
