Marado, shutup you have NFI. Emotionless about today's game. We played well and should have flogge them but even when we go ahead, we can't win. Coates goal was brilliant! Good on him with that finish. Suarez however should have stayed on. Every time we attacked, we looked like scoring and his pressure was missed when he went off. Oh well seasons over now. Let's focus on the fa cup and hopefully win that!

Re: Liverpool 2011/12
yeah focus on the positives Liverpool almost beat QPR, good work Reds fans i think you guys might even come top 10 next season.
Fantastic, keep up the great work.

Kenny's honeymoon is well and truly over I see, perhaps he's not the saviour some expected. We'll never know, but one wonders how Woy would have gone if he'd been given the same money to spend.totsreds08 wrote:Suarez however should have stayed on. Re: Liverpool 2011/12
Well you're only six points ahead of West Brom and you've got a better stadium, better support, better players, spent gazillions more than them, and they're not in the Championship are they? I think they panicked and were unduly pressured by the fans.BlackBrian_7 wrote:We would probably be playing in the championship this season.Nice One Cyril wrote:Kenny's honeymoon is well and truly over I see, perhaps he's not the saviour some expected. Well he bought konchesky and was keen on zamora or carlto cole too. I don't think that is good buying to be honest. The way we play this season is so much better than last season and if it wasn't for our poor finishing, we would be much higher but the poor finishing is our fault so we just have to build for next season.Nice One Cyril wrote:Kenny's honeymoon is well and truly over I see, perhaps he's not the saviour some expected. Simple question, would you have him at your club when Harry goes??
…Didn’t think so.

Apples and pears. He was given a budget of 9 shillings and sixpence whilst KK has spent millions. Agree you've played better (mostly) than your results though.totsreds08 wrote:Well he bought konchesky and was keen on zamora or carlto cole too. I don't think that is good buying to be honest. Considering your team spent around 200m in the 3 years from 06-09 with sweet f*ck all to show for it, thought you’d know better…….Nice One Cyril wrote:Apples and pears. How did Spurs get dragged into this? If you can't find a reasoned response, resort to changing the subject. The Kop wrote:Considering your team spent around 200m in the 3 years from 06-09 with sweet f*ck all to show for it, thought you’d know better…….Nice One Cyril wrote:Apples and pears. Reasoned response hey, tell me if you’d have Roy at the WHL or are you totally avoiding that?
Would like him to get rid of technical players for athletic robots? Would like him to call a 2-0 derby loss (the first in 4 years) the best performance of the season? How about calling wins against Trabzonspor and Steaua Bucharest famous victories in the history of this club (inspite of beating Real Madrid 5-0 on aggregate in the CL just 15months before!). Or perhaps calling the mighty League 2 strugglers Northampton Town a “formidable” opponent.
Yeh…..you lot would have loved him to hang around. Which is exactly why he needed to go!
Roy is an agricultural footballist swindling the public with his 2 titles from Sweden 30 years ago posing as a statesman of the game. I hope he gets the England cos that’s exactly who you poms deserve!
Then you constantly bang on about money spent like broken record. Kenny’s spent this, he’s spent that. They’re playing good football but still only 6 points from Roy, same position as last year – blah blah blah. Totally ignoring that it took 2 seasons afterwards for Tottenham to look any decent after spending massively; totally ignoring that it took Abramovich’s Chelsea around 3 years to start competing for the title; ignoring that City’s Arabs started dropping big money in 2008/09 and have a decent title shot 3 seasons later.
Playing good football on a week in week out is progress enough.
