i don't even know what you mean. liverpool are a current team. they play in the premiership. surely you don't mean that any teams up in the top four of the league are current "big four" clubs? what if southampton are promoted and win their first two games, sitting third, will they be a big four club? no, because that's stupid mate.dudley wrote:yeah but the BIG 4 is current teams surely, you cant just be in it because you were good in the 70s and eighties, its 2012.

Liverpool play in the Premiership which is football. Not sure where you got Lacrosse from. Going by your logic Swansea will wear Essendon jumpers next year.Blotto wrote:Pity Adidas didn't give a shite....NickyTanner wrote:

Re: The Big 4, is liverpool really in it??
lol what happened to their norwich scarf thing? did they get bored of protesting? i think they were only doing it cos we were but we put them to shame. they must have realised they don't actually care how the clubs running. to me the classic thing was learning those dumbasses actually bought those norwich scarfs from the club, the people they're trying to protest against. bless them. wonder what will happen when the ronaldo money runs out. maybe abramovich will buy them
Re: The Big 4, is liverpool really in it??

Re: The Big 4, is liverpool really in it??
ADIDAS got outbid and are bitter. That's the story end of.
As for 22 years it's less than 26, and that 26 included a relegation.
5 is greater then 3
And I would still take a League Cup every year over a regular top 4.
If we are talking wealth, Liverpool are 4th in England.
This thread has finished its course..move on.

How you would love to OWN the European Cup, something you can only dream of!!!!
You have one more title than us, we have 2 more of the world's best club competition.
We have won a trophy in 2012, you have been knocked out of 3 and won none.
We have signed the biggest shirt deal in UK you haven't.

Re: The Big 4, is liverpool really in it??
nutty, 26 and a relegation is still greater than 22.
Just in case you missed it the first time. I think things need repeating to you a few times so you can understand it.

I see the straw clutcher is at it again. Well done for winning your first trophy in years. I'm sure it will ease the pain of finishing 7th at the end of the season. As for the shirt deal, you do realise that your deal will get blown out of the water when United negotiate their next deal next year?NickyTanner wrote:How you would love to OWN the European Cup, something you can only dream of!!!!

I'm confused, how can they be one step behind you when they have done it before you.Jimbob wrote:I see the straw clutcher is at it again. Well done for winning your first trophy in years. Re: The Big 4, is liverpool really in it??
I didnt see the post from the Derby man until you quoted it. But as you pointed out, they are following us.
Just like we had the first shirt sponsor (in UK), then they followed. We set the standards. sadly only off the pitch at present though!
Sadly we are stuttering at present, but at least we are still in the FA Cup, and if we come 5th or 10th it makes fuck all difference. I am happy to concentrate on getting back to Wembley.

Liverpool's sponsorship deals are always dwarfed by United's. They are actually years behind us off the field as well as on it but it is true they have currently negotiated the biggest shirt deal.God is an Englishman wrote:I'm confused, how can they be one step behind you when they have done it before you.Jimbob wrote:I see the straw clutcher is at it again. This will soon be smashed though and probably not just by United. It's actually a bit embarrassing arguing about who has the biggest shirt deal but the straw clutching londoner brings these up to make himself feel better about the current state of his club.
Will United win a trophy? Who knows, I know that I'd definitely prefer to be challenging for the league title every year than winning a league cup every 7 seasons or so.
Re: The Big 4, is liverpool really in it??
Are you really trying to say you set the standards off the pitch? Your current deal is only a bit bigger than our current deal anyway. We've even got a sponsorship deal for our training kit that your mob can only dream about.NickyTanner wrote:I didnt see the post from the Derby man until you quoted it. Re: The Big 4, is liverpool really in it??
hey Derby
As usual none of your mates join you in your threads, as they know you talk shit and continually try and back it up. Only to fail time and time and time again.
FYI Liverpool can now make their own branded stuff getting rid of a lot of the items ADIDAS made, so they will make even more money.
Go and be a good boy and go back to Red Cafe, as you are at home there.
