Re: WNPL TEAM OF THE YEAR
I would not finalize my choices until the season concludes. There are 1 or 2 not in the choices made by other pundits.

Re: WNPL - Round 7
Yes, Elizabeth Vale were in Prems in the early 2000's, and recall them having one of the best goalkeepers at the time. Shannon........ ? I am not certain but I reckon they won the League or Cup one year. They had one terrific season. I do not get what is meant by SAD GAL on Max and recruiting. I do ...

Re: MOTION OF NO CONFIDENCE IN THE FFSA WOMEN'S ADMIN
Interchange for Premier League was put to SAWSA more than 14 years ago by Noarlunga Lions, when they had the Golden Fleece of young players. These young players had many good attributes and the coach at the time Bill Stewart wanted the opportunity to interchange them because 1. He did not want to ...

I had the good fortune to see Jessica Captain the U/16 Australian Team in a Tournament at Rizal Stadium in Manila. A very good leader and very very good player. Only South Aussie in the team.

Re: Adelaide Airport Premier League Team Lists Round 19
Fulham were restricted somewhat by the unavailability of Izzy Hodgson and Dylan Holmes who were kicking goals for SA in the NTC Challenge in Canberra. So how they played (which by accounts of others on this forum was really competitive] was reflective of the above. ie. Played well with the team they ...

One thing complete year 12 before contemplating any move toward applying directly to Uni/Colleges in USA. Good to do some research in the mean time. What one wants to do after football is important also (academically). Retention records by Uni's of overseas players is another aspect to consider, if ...

Re: Adelaide Airport Premier League Team Lists Round 7
Just saying, because if a player from anywhere plays in the NCAA they do not need a clearance to play because they are not affiliated with FIFA. The individual Colleges/ Uni's out of courtesy give permission for a player to play at their home of origin in summer break. If a player from an FFSA club ...

Re: Friday night football
The most ludicrous statement is the one about Fulham falling apart as a club. One game into the season and pundits picking who will win the League etc. Theres some real jokers on this forum.

Re: IS IT TIME TO SAY BYE BYE TO THE FFSA?
Yes 2011 was a tough year for Fulham Girls, for many reasons I have stated previously. I do not get your point in bringing up financial issues. The most important thing was the rebuild and ie. giving young players opportunity and couple this with some older experienced players. The womens team ...

Re: HARGREAVES & FULHAM
GH never posted on this Forum about his new position with NTC, someone else blabbed it. What surprises me is how quickly the newly appointed coaches at Fulham appeared on this forum. So it seems obvious people at Fulham must have been aware of the situation. Once again there are axe grinders putting ...

Re: IS IT TIME TO SAY BYE BYE TO THE FFSA?
How does an FFSA employee coaching Fulham in his own time lead to people wanting to quit the game? Which " unprepared ' state coach are you refering to? Poaching? Easy to say. But players changing clubs has been going on for many years. I am sure the reasons are varied. Yes I respect Leigh also, he ...

Re: IS IT TIME TO SAY BYE BYE TO THE FFSA?
Surely the individual clubs under the FFSA umbrella have to shake themselves up and have sound management and the right coaches. Take responsibility for their own clubs well being. Which means work harder to create an environment where team is both player and management together. Appreciate each ...

Re: Lady Reds
A simple approach is to take a leaf out of SACA (cricket ). Split Adelaide into 4 Zones and have a 4 team Super League. This way the W- League coach can see up to 70 players a week for 6 or 9 weeks. This would include players from other divisions to be given an opportunity, including 15 and 16 year ...

Re: Round 6
I am sure that if Fulham have breached the rules in the reserves, they will accept the penalty.
Like many I have utmost respect for MJ, and sure she will be missed, but sell the rest of the Fulham players short at your own peril. I am sure they will remain positive as a group / team. GO FOR IT TEAM.
