All downhill from there.
They did not get rid of him, he left the club on his own terms.

Soccerman, what do you mean by that comment.... if anything he wouldn't be too happy seeing the Wanderers at the bottom of the table.

This date (28th September) has thrown a spanner in the works. Heard from a reliable source the Wanderers have booked their end of season trip for this weekend to Melbourne.

Re: WANDERERS DIV 1 CHAMPIONS 2008

Laney, Been waiting to see when you were going to post on this topic. I notice you haven't congratulated the Wanderers as yet. Pretty pointless trying to fire up the roo considering the season is over and, yes, much to your dissapointment, they are now league champions. Come on Laney.... i thought ...

Re: ST IGS READY

Well Hawkesy..... During the B game, your A team were gathered together on the sideline and some of the comments made towards our players were quite unnecessary. During the A game, some of your players continued with unnecessary comments towards the Wanderers, which caused the Wanderers players to ...

Hawkesy, I would be very careful about the comments you throw the wanderers way. Or should I refresh your memory about the way your players and in particular, your coach conducted himself in the first game of the season. ST IGS READY!!!!! In my opinion, the ref did favor the jets a little, infact I did hear a the ref warn a wanderers player, that if he kept complaining about his decisions, "the jets will get more free kicks".... shame on you John. Your performance as a referee was an absolute disgrace aswell.

Game was played at Wanderers. No situation where a game is abandoned is any one team 100% in the wrong however in saying that the player went outside the pitch (over the fence) to get the ball and threw the ball off our supporters head to which our supporter quite rightly reacted. This then had ...

Rooney8, if this is so... this takes nothing away from the Farms result today. They are a good side coached by an excellent coach and it was only matter of time (this season) that they were going to hit top form. They did not have the best of starts this year, however they are now where they belong ...
