Re: Health of the junior Clubs
On the State Championships held this weekend it was the first time ever (or at least as long as I've been involved) that there were three age groups for the girls. There has only ever been two! Clearly girls' numbers are growing.... Having said that, nearly all areas were from regional SA. Clearly ...

Re: State School Girls Trials
Yes people's finances are an individual concern and unfortunately this does preclude some athletes and it happens across many sports, but many levels of govt and private enterprise realise this. So there is support if you are prepared to do some groundwork. Grants from local councils, school, your ...

Haven't they started trials? Burton park? IMO - (I stress this) I would rather see a local coach. Who do we have that can do it? It need not be a female either there are male coaches that are good women's coaches. TBH I dont think at this level it should even come into consideration. Would they say no to SAF because he's male? If it means ...

This is wonderful news and I have been reading the posts with interest! Lots of questions for sure. The most important thing (as many of you have pointed out) is to give some of our local youth (the whole state) a chance and work with them in the long term (not burn them into the ground!!) and ...
