BUT
this is England's best chance to ever win ANOTHER world cup now. We will now lose to Columbia, probably on penalties.

Re: Australia v Peru
Bit of perspective here wouldn’t go astray for the naysayers. Australia 24 million people, the talent spread among FOUR football codes. Peru 32 million population, ONE football code. And I bet the Peruvians’ ball skills are honed by more street football and pickup games on village waste grounds. In ...

At the end of the day Germany ended bottom of their group just as the Socceroos. That's how the game goes. So much for the negativity. Difference being last tournament Germany went home champions and Australia finished.... ummmmmm ... bottom. For all the talk of Australia being brave and dominating ...

3 points is all that we needed. One sided game but we didn't score. On another day that could have been 6-0. Ref was woeful. Ref was woeful but this is where VAR should pick up/ correct his mistakes. If you give the first penalty then you have to give England at least two for the fouls on Kane ...

I just finished watching SBS after match summary. That Craig Foster is a knob. We must have better analysists than him. SBS is a job for life once you get in. Not a bad result for Australia but they were clearly the dominant team and should have won.
Still after all these years and world cup campaigns Timmy still looks the most likely to get a goal, which im sure he will in the return game.

Cruyff, along with Rinus Michels, did more to shape the modern game than anyone else. Guardiola was Johan's favourite player and he hasn't done too bad carrying on the legacy. Who can forget those wonderful days in the 70s? Well said, The greatest team never to win a world cup. I always believe ...

Could (Should) have been 12-0 tonight I don't think I've ever seen a more one sided game at a professional level. Some of the finishing was poor, should easily have been double figures from the chances the Aussies had. Had the feel of a training session to it... Ange should have made them do 10 ...
