Re: Cards / Registrations
I though the checking of "cards" went out of fashion when the kids stopped playing for sheep stations. Perhaps try spending your time positively by counting the 1-2s made in the game by your team and see how that improves during the season. Thanks for the tip. I have other ways of measuring the ...

Re: Cards / Registrations
from what i have seen all the players registered in the juniors are in the booklet, and every team has a copy... [/color] Every team has one or should? Depends on what the club does I guess? I know that we got one for our team with every junior registered at the club in alphabetical order, making a ...

Re: Players Names On Shirts
What do parents do with all the shirts with names on the boys get over the years?? I would rather the club get good quality shirts that would last a couple of years. A waste of money kids getting a shirt every year just so their parents can see there name , I believe kids dont realy care . Hmmm, I ...

Re: How is stic training going?
Clubman, interesting about your comment some east players going west. The FFSA need to get a handle on this and stop it, they should not allow kids to trial at more than one zone, DONE, FINISHED, END OF STORY, seems simple to me. I don’t care on what technicality, it’s easy check the list of kids be ...

Re: How is stic training going?
It is almost certain that next years U13 Skillaroos wont be at their home clubs , so they will have to finalize that squad before club trials (most held late Sep/early Oct). I dont think anybody is sure if that will also apply to the U14 Skillaroos for 2012. I wonder how they are going to judge U13 ...

Re: junior football
Apart from the release of the ffa curriculum, a powerpoint presentation on 433 and one visit from the FFSA to my club for a coaching clinic, what has been done to educate coaches on 433 and playing out from the back? Bloody Romans, what have they ever done for us? The coaches who have done their ...

Re: Silly Question Why do clubs push players Up
Silly Question Why do clubs push players Up, in discussions with various people from overseas ie uk and portugal they made the statement pushing players up a grade or two is not a common practice unless they are something very special. so i wondering why do they continually persist with this ...

Re: Goal of the year 2011 by u13 Free kick freak
It bounced in with no pressure on the keeper. One for his archives, but doesn't come close to U13 goals scored from behind halfway this season (without bouncing). Nice memories for you both though. You're right. It is common for Goalkeepers at this age to not quite reach or be chipped. Memories are ...

Re: Cup Results 22/5
Whatever happened to the Tuesday Advertiser Results Column posting?
Everyone knew what had happened on the weekend (if they wanted to) :?
Can we expect to see these anywhere before the next round
We know winning isn't important but it would still be nice to hear the results

Re: U14 State trials tonight
:P atrocious game :P someone told me that was the Strkers u16 team, I doubt it  I saw part of this game last night, and believe that this U14 State team is possibly the start of a new era. They play quality creative football and prove that size is not an issue when you are playing against a ...
