Inter Vs Gardens

Post by Karmann Ghia »

Can anyone give us an update to the abandoned game last weekend?

Does the result stand? Has the league punished inter for not controlling their supporter?

Tough situation for the club, I don't have the correct answer, Intersted to know

Does the result 0-2 stand or do the League impose a 0-2 penalty.... ?
I doubt after 70+ minutes there will be a rematch...so logically, either way the resut will probably stand :D

If that's the case fair enough re the result.

Does the league not investigate why it was called off??

I know the league is a little delayed in getting these matters finalised. Has a report even been lodged???

It happened when we played them down there and they were winning, so work that out. Bit of a pattern evolving over the last couple of season's and the same person allegedly is the cause of both incidents.....mmmmmm In saying that can't wait for this week's game....

seems like you have been updated, if you know it was an Inter supporter that caused the issue why not elaborate further??

from memory the Inter v Downs game last year was called off due to a Downs supporter invading the pitch? and furthermore to that what would there be to work out score wise? if Inter were up and a Downs supporter invaded with Bottle in hand ??

either way the discipline shown at Inter over the past 2 seasons has been extremely disappointing and something i know will not be excepted within the club. knowing the committee they would be extremely concerned and i'm sure Parafield have been contacted and apologies sent!

and Yes Legga, Sunday should be a cracker, cant wait! see you there.

last season butler caused all the commosion when receiving his marching orders. Wouldnt leave the pitch. 10 minutes left in the game. Roid rage was mentioned. Remember inter celebrating as if they won the FA cup.

"If" a spectator invaded the pitch it is hardly that.... especially " if" it is a repeat offender as mentioned above.

It's not a storm in a tea or D cup...
Had Parafield Gardens supporters not shown restraint it could have gotten way out of control.
The Salisbury Inter club need to take action and ensure this doesn't happen again.
If the person / people responsible are known to the club then they need to be dealt with in the proper manner.
It is little wonder that game officials feel under threat in the Amateur League.

Don't throw stones in glass-houses and when naming people be very careful of slander it holds up well in court :?:

This game should be replayed. Gardens to miss out on potential goal difference, since they could have scored another 3 or 4 goals in the remaining 20 minutes of the game.

Where were the ground marshalls when the pitch invasion action was gathering momentum? I heard that each team has to provide three people, and identify these to the ref prior to the game - I assume these marshalls weren't the ones invading the pitch?

The Downs played Inter yesterday there was no trouble no issues and banter from both sides, at the end of the game ALL INTER supporters, players and coaches came into the club as I'm sure we will at Gardens next round. I think every one is flogging a dead horse with these posts, time to move on!!
