Post by PHSC »

Para Hills Knights are looking for senior women to join both our Reserves & Premier League squads for the 2013 season.

We would like to invite all players with the commitment and insight into the development of women's football in this state to join a very talented and committed group of competitive young footballers.

We boast the best playing surface of any women's side in the state as well as high quality facilities provided by a very supportive top level men's club who are enthusiastic about growing the women's game in SA.

Whether you are an established Premier League player looking for a change, find yourself on the fringes of the first XI and want a fresh start, or a young up and comer looking for your opportunity, we hope you can join us for senior trials at the Paddocks, Bridge Road Para Hills at 6.30 pm on Tuesdsay the 30th of October and Thursday the 1st of November.

Womens First Team Coaches – Shane Tobias and Dom Argiro
Reserves Coach – James Balacco

From the FFSA?

Maybe he should concentrate on actually running the Men's game and getting it right before actually coaching.

how long will this last?
surely the federation wont like one of their own actually helping a club?
unless he is a mole, sent there to undermine one of the strongest clubs in the north?

I have never met the bloke myself, so I wont pass judgement yet, but I do hope for Para Hills sake that
he is better at coaching then he is at running the senior mens competition, maybe this will teach him about the game?

as for Shayne and Dom, excellent choices, great knowledge of the game, and a couple of nice blokes,

Coached a STIC team a couple of years ago, my daughter and her friends highly respect him. Was a good coach, taught the girls a lot about the game; probably more than the State system has.

Does anyone know how hard it is to attract good coaches to womens soccer...

Who cares where they work......

Really cant be picking and choosing just because of their day jobs...

Congrats to Para Hills and good luck to them for next year

James coached my daughter for STIC and did a great job. Also he has came from the Adelaide uni collegate coaching so can't see that he will have any trouble with the position.

Also ain't all of us coaches busy with a day job and life on top of coaching, we volunteer and that needs to be remembered in the women's. A lot of us are volunteers and with out all of us there would be no womens league.

Good luck james in you new role, one day you and shaun could be seperated at the hip lol, but if it works for the girls then why not.

for futher clarification i am definetly not affiliated with Parahills Knights, a few of the girls I have coached are. but good luck james.

Para Hills Knights are also looking at fielding an U17 team in the 2013 season.

If you were not able to make junior trials, we are welcoming any players wanting to play U17's to attend our senior trials tomorrow night at 6.30pm.
