Cheers to Lion for 2 great entertaining games, and thanks for the support over the bar and bbq as well. Mark Sanger back in the line up for Lion will change the direction of this Lion side in up and coming weeks.

The club shouldn't be tarred with the same brush as this whinger
Thought I'd come down to watch a few mates from both sides play as they've all been talking it up all week. I'm sad to say the game failed to live up to any sort of excitement except for the red card. First offense or not you can't touch a player especially the way he did and deservedly got a red. The game was more scrappy the dirty, although there were a few suspect tackles flying in that Could've led to some more bookings. A lot of whinging from both teams, which was frustrating for a supporter. Hopefully the return leg sees a few more goals!!

A's Jets 0 - 3 Wanderers
B's Jets 0 - 3 Wanderers

Good results for Wanderers, both games played in good spirits, Wanderers took their chances in the A game to win a tight game.

Hahndorf A's played well today considering 5 B team players had a run out in the A's today. (why do players get married during soccer season and drag players along for the day out!!! It should be a summer occaision only).

Thanks to Hawks for an hard fought, good quality and end to end game and hope they can get promoted this year.

A good summation..Both clubs need to do better to even challenge Uni and Hawks.

Can I assume Adelaide Villa lost this week due to the fact none of their one eyed comments have been posted yet?

assumption almost correct! They should of won, but looked very tired towards the end. SV had 2 chances and scored both times - the equalizer was a ripper! A great result for Salisbury, considering they were 2 goals down at half time and had 4 regulars out of the side!

Also, just like to thank St Peters for their great hospitality after the Sturt Marion game yesterday. Both teams fought it out to the final whistle and were able to enjoy a beer after the game at the Lion (St Peters sponsor). Free beers and food made it even better and there was a great sense of mutual respect between both sides. Saints were the better side in the first half and took a deserved lead into the half time interval. Sturt shaded the second half and grabbed an equaliser from a freekick when Mahony glanced one of his big dome 8) .

:D A's Modbury 0 Adelaide Wanderers 3
B's Modbury 0 Adelaide Wanderers 3

Game closer than scoreline showed game predominantly played in middle of park. Wanderers scoring on 2 set pieces where Modbury failed to pick up players and other was a beatiful bit of passing after some good pressure on Modbury defence.

ACU Falcons 2 - 1 Flinders (As)
ACU Falcons 1 - 5 Flinders (Bs)

Thanks to Monarchs and Bridge for dropping points, ACU and Gleeson only 1 point off the top, shaping up to be a very tight season in Div 3

I think Kitch wasn't correcting that, but advising the score was back to front.

Well Done to Saints - Should really have taken the chocolates, but to Sturt's credit they pushed just enough to grab the leveller.

Awesome hospitality at the Lion after the game, great lads and plenty of food and froth. See you on the last day of the season boy's, good luck for the remaining fixtures.

Top day taking full six points away from home. A's match was a high tempo game with both sides good on the ball but the pitch making it difficult to play the ball on the deck. A huge win from gleeson and now only one point behing MB.
did DA play today for gleeson
Yeah mate, DA played, came off the bench had a goal disallowed for "offside" and stepped up to cooly slot the penalty. Great to have him back!
