The Sampdoria player has been found guilty of giving inside information to third parties with regards to betting.
Francesco Flachi (Sampdoria) and Moris Carrozzieri (Atalanta) have been suspended for the next two months following the investigations carried out into match fixing from last season.
Both players have apparently "tried to get news on the outcome of football matches so to allow third parties to bet on sure matches."
Flachi and Carrozzieri declared that they feel confident and serene that the ruling will be overturned in appeal as they have a clean conscience.

Indeed. That would be a further blow to Sampdoria who clearly haven't had the best start to a season. Flachi managed to score as recently as giornata 3, and already has 2 goals this season (1 pen). It would be a shame for Samp.
They do still have Bonazzoli, who was quite good last year when he played, a strike rate of over 50%.
