As reported earlier, hooligans have attacked Algeria's team bus prior to the north African nation's clash with rivals Egypt in Cairo.

Three players were said to have been injured by rocks thrown at their vehicle, with windows also being smashed amidst the melee.

Now a video of the incident has emerged online, uploaded by the sports site DZFoot.com.

The recording appears to have been made on a mobile phone, and is attributed to veteran forward Rafik Saifi, an Algerian international who formerly served Ajaccio and Lorient before joining Al-Khor of Qatar in the summer.

The footage indicates that a window was smashed before the bus occupants moved off their seats for cover.

Shattered glass is shown, and while it is difficult to see what is happening outside the bus it is clear that the passengers still feel under threat throughout.

Mourad Meghni to silence the Egyptians and send Algeria to the World Cup.

Pretty crazy scenes though, from what I saw, the Egyptians were scummy enough to throw bricks at them and the Algerians made it look a little worse than it was.
