The referee, the linesman and the coach of New Mexico should be held to account. If the referree/ linesman were doing their job it would not have went that far. The coach needs to be reprimanded for not dragging the player after earlier incidents. He certainly would have if the referee had invoked the appropriate cautions and cards, then again she would have been sent off anyway.

Everyones got an opinion right! well heres the truth- she is NOT a bitch nor anyones sister. She is my teammate and considering i was standing right next to her I can tell u very confidently that the media showed u what would get the most attention. you saw 1min of clips from a 90min game! anyone whos played soccer knows there are 90 emotions in 90mins...think about it!

Her behavior was disgusting. Not the way Female footballers should get media attention. What a great role model she is....... :?
Did her coach tell her to pull her head in?? Did her team mates tell her to calm down? Did the refs give her any verbal warnings???
She would have been sent off in any other league in the world. American Referees are the worst. Players still get away with foul throws in the college league, they expect you to call them 'sir' instead of 'ref'. Why should we when they arent protecting the players on the field??? If I were the victim in all this, I would have been placing a lot of the blame on the refs who couldnt control the game.
Everyone loves a bit pf physicality int he womens game, but the display shown on that day was disgraceful and I hope she is embarressed and ashamed. Did she forget that she was representing her college, her family, her team etc?

I agree.....Whether it was one incident or ten, 1 min or 90 mins, there is no way it is acceptable. She needs to take responisbility for her poor form and people need to stop making excuses. If that were my team mate, I would be embarressed for her. It reflects the team and the college. Lobo's will now always be know as a college wrestling team :clown:

She has apologized for her actions. In the heat of the game things happen and people can make mistakes. Just because she made a mistake doesnt mean she needs to be crucified by the world for it. I am proud to be her teammate, her fellow partner at centerback and A LOBO!

I don't know if there's any truth to it, but the commentator on yesterday's Adelaide v Central Coast match said she has been banned for life.

Im disgusted by her actions. WHilst i, like all people, can c a funny side to it, thats just not football!
Yeah we havent seen the whole game, but you dont lay punches in a game, you dont pull hair, u dont go for the guts. Its not what is considered normal conduct for a "NON CONTACT" sport, ad seeing as it is not ofthe norm, it constitutes an assault. I'm sure shes a lovely person, but really, who loses it like that for just a few minutes in one game?!?! Surely there have been previous complaints, hence why the cameras caught her actions behind the refs back.
She should not be playing football and i pity those who play in such an environment. actions like that can not be justified or supported.
