Kit Clashes
Should it be a rule that away teams wear away kits unless the kits clash?
because earlier in the season we played a team who was blue everywhere except for the front which was orange
it was extremely hard to see who was on your side and it resulted in giving away the ball a lot
give your opinion on why or why not

Re: Kit Clashes
away team must play in a change strip that doesn't clash with the home side. EG: if Croydon were playing at Campbelltown, Croydon would change from their red strip to their white strip as Campbelltown is red as well. When C'Town play at Croydon, C'Town wear their away strip which is blue (I think) - easy.

Re: Kit Clashes
The JPL rules are easy. If a change of colour is required the away team must change to colours that are not present in their regular kit. For example if salisbury play in blue and must change they go to red & black in accordence with the rules. The confusion comes when sides play in say blue and white but when required to change they revert to white & blue. This is really outside the rules becuase its still the same just the dominent colour reversed.

Home Strip- Blue and white.
Away Strip- Depending on what colour the other team is. If it clashes well then they wear thier yello strip.

Re: Kit Clashes
correct.. blue and red are completely opposite.. a good change in colour.. as for other clubs who like to cause confliction by reversing colours... shame on themSrimpersareus wrote:The JPL rules are easy. Re: Kit Clashes
I think it comes down to how dominant the dominant color it. If the club plays in all red (shirts, shorts and socks) with pin strips that are yellow and barely visible (like Liverpool did in the 80's) playing in the reverse of all yellow with red pin strips is not an isse.

In E&D when there is a colour clash the home team changes strips, a bit unusual from my point of view, this weekend we play a 1/4 final cup game and we have to play in our change strip at home... go figure.

Back home the children's leagues also do that. I think it was because the home side could store a change kit in their club houses and should be readily available.povman1964 wrote:In E&D when there is a colour clash the home team changes strips, a bit unusual from my point of view, this weekend we play a 1/4 final cup game and we have to play in our change strip at home... go figure.

Re: Kit Clashes
cant see why they cant have a meeting at the start of the season, each club brings there strips, and they organise clash strips for the season from that meeting.
its what happens at state tournaments and works quite well.
