First I'm an idiot, now I'm amazing! Make your mind up.
As it happens, Fulham are very close to my heart, after Spurs of course, and my comment was in jest. Sadly, your mouth beat your brain into action.

My mouth hasn't done any talking! My keyboard has though!
And according to ESPN, Brendan Rodgers has told Andy Carroll to leave now if he doesn't want to spend a while on the bench as Liverpool step up chase for Theo Walcott.
"You don't need to be a rocket scientist to see Andy has been a cover player for us."
"He has been excellent in terms of his attitude and his acceptance of where he is at. But I'm not sure we are in a position to have £35m players as third-choice strikers or wingers who might be on £6m a year. I don't think the club are in that position."
"The club needs to repair financially."
"I'm not in a position to buy without selling first," Rodgers noted. "This is an incredible club so players who come here, even if you want to move them on, are not just going to walk out of the door."

No way Hodgson would have wasted all that money on Carroll
Allardyce is singing:
How much is that Geordie in the window?
The one with the pony tail.
How much is that Geordie in the window?
I do hope that Geordie's for sale.

I find it very strange that Liverpool have to sell before buying players! We were told by all and sundry (Bomber) on here that the new yank owners would be the biggest spenders on the planet. King Kenny's disastrous purchases must've scared them into tightening the purse strings!

You should be happy Kenny wasted all their money, if they had Rodgers last season they might actually have challenged.

I think you're right, only time will tell just how much damage Dalglish actually did

A transfer fee of 23 million pounds has apparently been agreed between the 2 clubs
Can't believe you'd have to pay them that much to take him

I hope Chelsea don't get Schurrle. He's brilliant.
if we get him, you guys get Sturridge. If Rodgers can sort him out you've got a goal machine on your hands IMO.
Hmm would rather dodge Sturridge, he’s indicated he sees himself as a central striker. Suarez is a much better option as central striker for us. Would prefer Carroll’s wages be spend on a wide/support forward. Think we’ll get someone previously unlinked by the press and relatively left-field. Would settle for Dempsey or Walcott.
