Re: Championship Season 2018/19
Dishonesty is an interesting concept nowadays. Even saw in court a bloke who ran from the law for weeks, then saw himself on a crime stoppers snippet on TV, realised his predicament and judge gives him a discount in sentencing as he "turned himself in". He only did it as he was sprung and half the state saw it.

Re: Championship Season 2018/19
I don't think the FA said anything about dishonesty. The club admitted a breach of Regulation 3.4 which states: "In all matters and transactions relating to the League, each club shall behave towards each other club and The League with the utmost good faith."Bomber wrote:Dishonesty is an interesting concept nowadays. the manager actually told the truth.
Leeds probably should have just shut up and made no comment. May have been £200,000 better off.

Honest or stupid
I am sure this is not the first occurrence of it in Britain. I also think its stupid for professional teams like Derby to allow their critical training drills to be open to anyone.
So teams should build walls around their training grounds because someone is dishonest?
Commonplace in his country wasn't a defence for Suarez and isn't for this bloke either.
Again, admitting you're dishonest doesn't make you honest - it just proves your dishonesty.

Ows 0 Blades 0
Pretty ordinary but tight game with only one clear chance which fell to Hutchinson which was saved by Blades keeper. Big improvement since Jos Luhukay was sacked just prior to Xmas.

Given how bad we were and leaking goals under Luhukay, Owls fans pretty happy at the big improvements in results.Nice One Cyril wrote:Steve Bruce is another Allardyce, always solid, but not hugely entertaining.ozzie owl wrote:Ows 0 Blades 0

Appallng scenes at St Andrew's as Aston Villa's Jack Grealish was punchedb y pitch invader at Birmingham City . Very sad that Birmingham supporters chose to applaud this idiot.
We can only hope that he cops criminal punishment as well as life ban from football .

EFL will be under political pressure to impose some heavy penalties on Birmingham City .Nice One Cyril wrote:And then one of the Brummy stewards tried to kick him as well.ozzie owl wrote:Appallng scenes at St Andrew's as Aston Villa's Jack Grealish was punchedb y pitch invader at Birmingham City . The supporter should be banned and full weight of the law thrown down on him. Don't see how it's fair to punish Birmingham city though.ozzie owl wrote:EFL will be under political pressure to impose some heavy penalties on Birmingham City .Nice One Cyril wrote:And then one of the Brummy stewards tried to kick him as well.ozzie owl wrote:Appallng scenes at St Andrew's as Aston Villa's Jack Grealish was punchedb y pitch invader at Birmingham City . A friend of mine who was the stadium director at Wembley invented (and patented) the barriers installed there, which make it very time consuming to climb over and give the stewards time to intercept them. In an emergency they can all be dropped at the touch of a button. All grounds should have them and Noel will be happy and wealthy!

I think they have far more things to worry about in UK politics just now TBH.ozzie owl wrote:EFL will be under political pressure to impose some heavy penalties on Birmingham City .Nice One Cyril wrote:And then one of the Brummy stewards tried to kick him as well.ozzie owl wrote:Appallng scenes at St Andrew's as Aston Villa's Jack Grealish was punchedb y pitch invader at Birmingham City . Knife crime is the major issue away from some other Euro stuff.

See the nice person who punched Grealish got away with 14 week prison sentance and ten year ban from football. The ten year ban is joke he should have copped life ban from any ground in the UK.

Sounds like the courts don't waste any time there at least. He'd still be on remand here.ozzie owl wrote:See the nice person who punched Grealish got away with 14 week prison sentance and ten year ban from football. The ten year ban is joke he should have copped life ban from any ground in the UK.

I trust the Gunner supprter will cop a lengthy ban.
The incidents that really annoy me are the gutless ones who throw coins at players , a nice person Owls supporter did that at the Steel City Derby, I hope he is caught charged and banned for life.
