Surely you can see this England squad is pretty average .

I think you'd cry if England actually won it, you'd have nothing to come on here and slate the English for in an attempt to appease and pretend to be a convict.

I don't think the best starting line up is average at all. However, with injuries and suspensions that line up won't happen. We don't have much in depth and that is the concern.

I know 2 wednesday supporters and that description matches them both. One of them is both. Not sure who ozzie owl supports this week though.

I tried the on line predictor came out with Spain v Germany Final ? Currently 7/1 seems good odds.

Well worth the bet! 2 years ago I said that I thought that german side was 2/3 years from greatness.

Wrong, I would very happy to see England win. Depth is an issue because of the lack of English players playing in the EPL.

I am just plain sick of the way FA is handliing the game, especially in relation to develoment of quality young English talent. The FA have stumbled and bumbled for decades.

:lol: And the farce goes on. Now Cahill's out and who do they pick? Martin Kelly FFS. Can't even hold down a regular place at the 8th best team in the EPL.

Gary Neville is back in training apparently :lol:

Foreigners are cheaper and that's the reason why there's more.

Grant Holt must be wondering what he has to do. He scored more goals than any Englishman eligible for the first 2 games and he did it playing for Norwich.

In this instance, you have to blame the clubs and the law of the land rather than the FA.

Not Kelly’s fault they’re dropping like flies ahead of him and/or have too much pride to be on stand-by.
That’s about where he is, 4th/5th best English right back in the league.

Toys out the pram for your sly dig, he was part of a defence which conceded the 3rd least amount of goals in the league. 8th place is lumped on the strikers, Liverpool’s defence last year was admirable.

Micah Richards looks like a right tit for rejecting to be on the standby list (same with Carrick) he would have been selected before Jagielka.

Would rather have Kelly there than Richards. If he doesn't want to be on standby then fuck him.

100% NO!

You can't have him and Terry in the same side and you don't drop your captain.

Isn't Gerrard captain?

Roy doesn't have the balls to say he doesn't have the balls to try to get the two working together (again), even though Rio said he'd go out of his way to ensure there wasn't any problems.

Andrea Barzagli possibly out for 2-3 weeks with a calf strain. Big blow for the Italian defence and may also put an end to the possibility of playing 3-5-2 before it even had a chance. Barzagli may yet be replaced in the squad, just depends on how serious the injury is.

Not many pubs...

Sign up to commercial license for Setanta;
Advertise on social media;
Get some glossy posters made up and fill the pub with them;
Not knowing that games are being played outside your trading hours......priceless.

Ahhh Cremorne thanks for the lulz.

Yep, I'll be in Austria from the 15th for two weeks for work. Every night will be one big pissup!

Even British Airways will have extended highlights on board. (will no doubt save my sanity for a 32 hour flight)
