We lost our first game today but walk away with alot of positives but also some things that we need to work on. I thought both teams knocked the ball around quite well and both would have benefited from a game thats was very well contested (especially in the heat). All the best to Parafield Gardens who played the game in good spirits and will no doubt be in the upper tier of Sunday Div 1 again this year.
We look forward to testing ourselves again next week against the best amatuer team in the state and going by todays result are going to be the benchmark of the league again.

To win they would have had to have beaten the other three in the top four at the business end of the season. You can't do better than that and they would be worthy champions and King Nugget will rule the forum.
