as a multicultural country, why have nationalitbased clubs. Hardly multi cultural. Before Kosta has a little cry, this includes English clubs Every club should be "australian"
All clubs are Australian. This is a joke subject.

Australia is a multi-cultural country and ethnic communities have the right to form sporting organisations.

On the same token the SAASL would be less of a competition without the likes of Elizabeth Downs, Elizabeth Vale, Ingle Farm etc

If all clubs are australian then there can't be too many greek clubs if there isn't any.

what has that got to do with football clubs in australia?

As for the nazi argument, you got conquered and had to be rescued.

Haha!

It was the English's fault that you got invaded. Haha. Another example of not being able to defend your country.

And to me true multiculturalis involves integration.

the greeks blocked the german advance at the request of the alli3es.. only to find out that when the allies help was needed (Britain), the poms pulled out of greece to fight the war elsewhere

so left the Greeks in the lurch, also same happened when the greeks invaded turkey and didnt get the promised support from the english, instead the poms left the turks over run the greeks and begin the systematic slaughter of greeks in places like smyrna

poms, full of shit and never back up promises.. oh yeah and apparently ugly as fuck :D

so, the facts are this. You couldn't defend your country without English help.

Again though, what has this got to do with football in australia?

Hawkesy remember the Greeks ruled the world. Never have the superpowers of the Poms or the Yanks even have cum close..
Lets look recent at Iraq and Afganistan what have England done there? All the technology weapons and man power and cant even beat a third world country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Nazis never took control of Greece they just passed thru to get to the front...

Remember if it wasnt for the good USA you poms would be speaking German...

What I love about this country is when the Greeks came here without a penny and 40 years later own the nicest homes drive expensive cars and eat at the best restaurants and the kids have all for them ready.
Its it that your jealous Hawkesy when you were growing up that you had a shit childhood and the majority of the greeks that you knew had great one?

Is Makris still South Australias riches man??

Hawksey you should get out more if you only knew one greek in your childhood..But I guess with a head like yours they left you home alot..As for them going bankrupt its a old greek tradition on paper have nothing to getting the dole...but a snapperhead like you wouldnt know had to scam the system..

Snapperhead dont get to excited with your smelly, depressed ugly country. With high unemployement and massive debt to the EU and loosing all your strategic ports and the muslims taking over your country I guess your countrys Fooked.

The best thing that England had was the black plague and the cholera outbreak.

My family and most South Australian families and their descendants were free immigrants to this Country.
Like or hate those that were of convict descent, those convicts were used to lay the foundations of this nation.
Some of them merely stole a loaf of bread or some corn to feed their starving family...listen to the lyric of Fields Of Athenry and you will see how stupid your comments are.
This nation was built through immigration, were all here for the opportunity we or our parents, or their parents, saw.
The old CONVICT lines wear a little thin, as do comments about those displaced by war being referred to as Gypsies.

You take too many things way to personally Nick. Learn to
relax a little, its ok for idiots to start stupid threads
but the minute someone says something about someones heritage
you have to put your 5 cents in. Sorry mate but i dont want to
listen to some song about a boat load of convicts stealing a loaf of bread and
if you dont like something dont read it...

Chillax a little buddy...

PS - I didn't take it personally, but was using my situation as an example that would apply to a vast majority of the anglo/celtic/saxon immigrants to South Australia. George, if you knew me well enough to use my name then you would know how chillaxed a person I am :D

very true.. SA is the only state that wasnt settled by convicts....

swanny a few convicts may of came over for just stealing a loaf of bread but they more than made up for a criminal reputation when they began genocide against the aboriginals by slaughtering them through massacres, poisonings and forced abductions

so apart from SA convicts ball and chain and deservedly so
