Minutes silence was for the death of the club secretary Bryce Morrison, a 17 year employee of the club who collapsed and died from a heart attack after returning from the CL draw ... RIP

i'm surprised villa are crumbling like this. i mean when you lose to the spuds at home, something must be up
they didn't play too badly. reinas goal kickouts are deadly!

Re: Liverpool vs Aston Villa
Fucking great result!
My dads a Villa supporter, so we watched the game together. He wasn't happy!
Riera Motm. He really picked up after his disapointing performances against Man Utd and Real Madrid.
Everybody played 'well', but Riera and Arbeloa I think were the two standout players.
Arbeloa was up and down that right hand side all game (until he was subbed for Agger) and honestly with the consistency Arbeloa has shown this season, I don't think that position is a weak spot for us anymore. He's been fantastic this season, one of our unsung heroes. Only thing we needa do is move Degen on and bring in a reserve RB.
Oh and was good to see Dan get 15 mins on the park. Made a few runs at their goal, but nothing came of them. Hopefully we'll see more and more of him now.

Re: Liverpool vs Aston Villa
not really a great thing agger coming back, means if he is first choice CB, arbeloa is going to miss out when he shouldn't have to accommodate for carra. if turtle and dagger are our first choice stoppers, and arbeloa and aurelio are our first choice stoppers, carra should be the one missing out.

yeh lol at reinas assist
i think now that use did that you should win and arsenal should advance and stay in top 4

go us
Re: Liverpool vs Aston Villa
Yeah Carra should be the one missing out, but I doubt that will be the case.Levendi wrote:not really a great thing agger coming back, means if he is first choice CB, arbeloa is going to miss out when he shouldn't have to accommodate for carra. if turtle and dagger are our first choice stoppers, and arbeloa and aurelio are our first choice stoppers, carra should be the one missing out.
Agger will be the one who misses out, which is a bad move. We need to give him as much game time as possible otherwise he could seek a transfer, which would be terrible for us.

If you're having Spurs problems I feel bad for you son
I've got 99 problems but the Yids ain't one.
PS: Spurs remain a quality side, I don't care what you say. The Feyernoord Jubileum Tournament doesn't win itself, you know.
