USC Lion vs. Titans - Titans in a close one.
MA Hawks vs. Budapest - Hawks on their big pitch will find the space to let their game dominate.
Hahndorf vs. Comets - At home they should be strong especially if the weather isn't very good
Cougars vs. Vipers - Draw, an arm wrestle to say the least.
Uni vs. Breakers - We need to keep winning.

Re: Saturday Div 2 Predictions, Results, Thoughts, Rumours
I had a couple of questions about the Vipers game but since I didn't get a response last time I guess I'll just wait for their match report which will reveal everything anyway.
Looking forward to seeing some action shots. Surely there was no missed penalty this time...

Vipers vs. Hawks - Draw. 2 Strong teams with a lot on the line.
Breakers vs. Hahndorf - Breakers showed a lot of determination against us last week and I see them being able to get up in this one.
Comets vs. Cougars - Cougars on a roll after their defeat of Vipers last week.
Budapest vs. Titans - Draw. Both teams tough to beat, therefore nobody wins!
Lion vs. Uni - Another must win game for us and we are starting to get some players back.

Re: Saturday Div 2 Predictions, Results, Thoughts, Rumours
Went to see Hawks/Vipers today as I have 2 friends that play for each team plus I thought it would be a good game to see. It was the first time I had seen the Hawks this year and second for Vipers as I watched their game against the Comets earlier in the season.
With a lot at stake for both teams I was expecting a hard physical clash which we got. However, it was really disappointing that instead of making comment on the game, it was the cowardness and filth of 2 Vipers players that made me post this as I believe such acts don't belong in our game.
Like I said, there was a lot at stake for both clubs, tackles were fierce and heated words were exchanged as one would expect. But it was the captain for the Vipers (I think his name is Costa) that made a name for himself for all the wrong reasons when after a heated exchanged and a bit of pushing and shoving that involved about 6 players, the Vipers captain decided to pretend that he was struck to the head with such a fierce blow that he was holding his face and rolling around as if in tremendous agony. The ref ran over to him and actually tried to pull him up and told him to get on with it. How he was never given a card is beyond me. I think it was one of the more embarrassing moments that I have seen on a soccer field. My advice, learn what it means to be Australian and stop trying to bring the game into disrepute. You are nothing but a cheat and a coward and an embarrassment to your club. You are also now the laughing stock amongst the Hawks faithful. Oh and I almost forgot to mention about the other cowardly act he did when after the Hawks scored a goal and were celebrating, Captain Viper decided when running back to the middle with the ball that he would detour through the Hawk players and bowl one of them over.
Now to Mr.Filth. I think this guy was of Serbian or Croatian origin, Zelco I think. When the match was over and players were shaking hands, this dog decided to go and spit on a Hawks players forehead. Spitting has to be one of the most disgusting acts that you can do. This piece of filth is lucky the guy never knocked his lights out. I sure would of. The ref saw the spit on the players head but unfortunately never saw the culprit.
All in all it was very disappointing to see these incidents. All the other Viper players played the game hard but fair.
Hopefully the next time I go to watch a match I can comment on the soccer.

If what onthemound is saying is 100% accurate (not doubting him though), I will be very suprised if Gennaro and the lads dont sort out the lad who spat on an opposing player. Its a very low act to spit on the ground, let alone a human being. Suprised the offender wasn't KO'd. For the faking incident, no real biggy. The Vipers captain is a hard, but fair player. Yes he pushes the limits at times... bit like a Kevin Muscat.... but I'd have him in my side any day. Going to be hard for the Viper boys now.
