Uni defending with numbers behind the ball then quick transition out to the Chilean striker, Sturt had no answers.
Changes for Sturt with taking off 9 goal striker and their CB defender didn't seem to help.
Uni's new import striker was great, will score a lot of goals.
When do Uni play FFSA?!

I don't think it was a case of the "B" coach or "A" Coach and let's face it all that really means is one has worked much harder than the other to get to where they are now in their career.

It's a very positive thing to have an A licenced coach in the league this should not be frowned upon. We all know there are elements outside a coaches control which determines outcomes. To uni's credit yes they played well, and won convincingly but Sturt were very depleted illness/players not available and Sturt hit the cross bar and missed 2 open goals. If these went in the coaches change would've been hailed. Football is funny like that

I agree with the comments regarding having a A Licence in the Premier League is good, in fact I think its great someone has the time and money it takes to gain this licence. But lets remember that yes a B Licenced coach won on the day, but also over the last few years that coach and there team has been out coached by coaches with Senior C Licences. At the end of the day the accreditation you get for participating in the courses is great but the experiences you gain from coaching week in and week out is far superior to that that is taught in the courses. Even the experience you gain from coaches you coach against in the league and your own coaches within your club.

In my view there would be more coaches sitting these courses as well if the costs weren't as high as they are, yes you are learning but the FFSA must also understand that without coaches participation in these courses there is no coach on the side lines come Sunday. Help out individuals and coaches lower the costs and maybe soon there will be 5 or 6 A & B Licenced coaches in the League.

Just my opinion..

Coach Kermit wrote:Uni's new #9 had a part in all 4 goals. She opened the scoring after receiving a nice through ball into the box and 3 times she was fouled in or around the box. One time this resulted in a penalty, another resulted in a well taken long range free kick which beat the keeper and the third she converted after good ball into the box. A reasonable debut you might say.

She has some tricky touches and moves that will test most defenders in the league. I'd have to say, she's quite a handy pick up.
I saw this player in a training game last night (my daughter plays juniors at Adelaide Uni) and she is quality. I would hope that Adelaide United womens coaches are looking at her for the W-League as she would be a very handy asset.

I don't know if she is getting paid or not, however the benefits of playing/training with this standard of player would only be of benefit to the girls at the Blacks as she would be a class above anything in the league.

They can score as many goals as they want, it will never reflect quality coaching. It just means they have more money to throw around than everyone else. When miss Chille leaves again their will be a big hole left in the team as it is built around her and everyone's back to where they started with 10k less in their pocket
Worth noting is that the player contacted the club seeking to play.

Adelaide Uni do not pay players and never have.
Got to be more than $100 hey big K
