The NSR program won't lead to a scholarship at a top NCAA Div I school. They send kids mostly to NAIA and community/junior colleges who can't find enough players domestically. It is next to impossible to get a free ride to a top 25-50 Div I school from out of the country unless you are a national team member. Tia Gavin from Sydney is at uWashington. Don't know how she did that but wasn't through NSR.

It is possible to do the legwork yourself, but difficult. Attending camps and showcase tournaments as a walk on is a much better way to get seen. Best time of year to go to a showcase is October-December as this is prime recruiting season for the universities. Lastly if you are thinking of committing to a school, a visit is crucial to determine if it's a good fit academically and athletically.

And start the process early- just before year 11 is good.
