uncertain to how the refs choose, i assume they get together at the end of the game and reach an agreement on 3-2-1 votes for the game.

i would just like to congratulate country on their outstanding performance over the weekend. leading in to the tournament i thought they would have come 5th. they did an amazing job!

conratulations is aslo in order for the rest of my team (south) for being undefeated in the tournament and (except for the penalties) conceeding no goals.

Also during those penalties Macca saved at least three of them. so congrats to her!!

Congrats to all the teams who made the finals.
Penalties in both U14 and U16 finals was not the best way to decide, but made for an entertaining nail-biter! (something like 8-7 for U16 and 9-8 for U14 in penalt shoot out I think?)
So well done to U16 South for their win, and to U16 Country on runner-up.
Also to U14 East for their win, and to U14 South for runner-up.
(sorry but don't know who made U12 final... congrats who-ever it was anyway.)

Under 12 was won by West and runners up were North.

Congrats to the west girls, some fantastic players in that bunch, who have been extremely successful throughout the whole year - winning sapsasa, league titles for their respective clubs and now the zone champs.
