I watched the game in the comfort of my Lounge Room with my beloved Wife and enjoyed it very much.

With 48 teams it will probably be played in half-a-dozen African countries, just to find enough stadiums capable of hosting it.

The lack of activity on this forum in the world cup threads demonstrates why this country will never be strong in football. There is no passion for the game here.
You don't see kids playing in the streets or parks. The latter are desolate empty places through most of the year.

unfortunately kids dont play outside any more. all are devoted to their smart phones. the good aspect of this is they will all be happy and fat and will have no inclination to go and fight wars at the behest of govts and arms dealers who, naturaly never go.

no never. i confess i was a very unwilling soldier when they dragged me off for national service. i had far better things i wanted to do. i did get a tape up nevertheless.
