No but threats of violence are. I was standing near you guys today and some of what was said was uncalled for. No wonder there is a struggle to find refs. Your players should have smacked you guys out as it will be the supporters fault that Farm will now finished second. The game is there for them not you. The yellow jacket official should hang his head in shame also.

mate i dont know what game you were at but there was no violence what so ever just a lot of abuse which is expected when the ref makes a call worthy of it. I am talking about the yellow card shown instead of a red for your player. (who took down our player from behind running in to a one on one straight infront of goals). I happened to talk to the player and he said to me "It was a definte red I cant believe I got a yellow". Then the ref goes up and gives our keeper a straight red for jumping out of the box and handling the ball which was on the side line of the 18yrds. this inconsitant calls against us killed the game mate. Game should be replayed.

IF v Pontians, same ref we had yesterday, once again makes himself centre of attention...

story from a mate at the ground and also confirmed just then by an IF player....

IF defender should have been sent off for last minute tackle, Steve gives penalty and yellow card old. bottled it. 10-15 minutes later Pontians keeper handles outside of the box and Steve gives straight red. supporters go mental. game called.

The result doesn't affect the title race or relegation so I very much doubt it.

There doesn't have to be violence, if a spectator is threatening an official he can abandon the game and call the police if he feels the need. Ok the ref may have been crap, and u can call him whatever you like, but IF someone threatened to assault him then he has every right to call the game off

hopethe game gets replayed mate coz it was a good 23min for all to see. end to end soccer with both teams playing well. Id rather finish second by beating Ingle Farm twice not by a game not being played and we finish 3points ahead. The game deserves better than that

Thats the thing no spectator was threatening the ref they were just calling him alot of names which he didn't like. I was on the Field and saw the ref telling our chairman to send away a supporter who was heckling the crap out of im once he made the first bad decision. he just wanted the guy to shut up and watch the game

Thank you to Salisbury Inter, players, supporters and club officials for their hospitality after the game, from all at Beograd Amateurs.

Congratulations on your promotion, enjoy Div 1.

To my boys, great effort by the team - we did extremely well with the unexpected events (player unaivability)...To almost win the game and end up drawing 1:1, well you've made the coach more then happy.

Southern Knights ( 2 ) Macedonia United ( 3 )
David Mooney
Bradley Armour

Not a good day at the office for Southern Knights...2-0 up early in the game and playing some good football.
Macedonia got one back before half time and then found themselves 2-3 up..Knights managed to rattle the upright but the ball refused to cross the line...furthermore Knights weren't able to convert a second penalty which also struck the upright.
Why referees continue to book players for asking questions or touching a ball into the net after a whistle has blown....yet they let players get away with tackles from behind still amazes me.. :?
Thanks to Paul Martin and Deb for organizing the Hangi...a win would have helped make the beer taste better.

Southern Knights ( 9 ) Macedonia United ( 0 )
Paul Thompson 2
Dustin McMahon 2
Steve Fulton 2
Anthony Michael
Justin Moule
Tony Harrison

Vale 4 - Fulham 2

Lapses of concentration cost us dearly - none more so than after we equalised at 2-2 Vale scored 1 min later.

We still believe a win this week will save us from relegation as Gardens and Brooks wont be doing Florina any favours.

don't think anyone will be doing anyone any favours, after winning the championship and playing a semi the week after I would say that gardens may rest a few players. At the end of the day gardens may decide who stays up.

B

Vale 1 - Fulham 4

Slow start to the game but Fulham over ran the Vale in the 2nd half.

C

Vale 1 - Fulham 13

What can u say after a win by that much.

Gardens have won everything so I'm sure Brooks and Gardens would like to win the top goal scorers trophy and I'm sure Brooks would like nothing more than to score against Florina this week.

Decision was made probably shoulda been a red but wasnt given, Pontian converted penalty went one nil up and the game moved on, Farm equalised with a well taken goal, looked a good match, the Pontian Keeper blatant hadball outside the box was always a red card, and was duly given.

Pontain supporters abuse Ref, Ref asks the yellow coated official to move a abusive / aledgedly threatening supporter away, instead goes mental and abuses ref even more, ref cancels game, and states he doesnt need or have to put up with threat of being 'bashed', felt sorry for the players who were battling out a good close game for second spot and Farm who had absolutely no involvement in the situation.

Whole thing could have been diffused if the yellow coated official showed some respect and kept his mouth shut and asked the supporter to move away from the line instead of further provoking the siuation.
