Scott Bradley, David Mooney
With their backs to the wall and battling to avoid dropping to Division 3, Knights came out against Adelaide Vikings with plenty of determination.
Phillip Smith's form in goal for Knights has allowed for a little more team stability and enabled Steve Maguire to regain form and match fitness.
Matt Harrison demonstrated his defensive prowess up against Simon "Andre The Giant" Jurasic and the evasive Alex Emilov.
Paul Martin returned to the fold after injury and combined well with Steve Maguire, Lee White and Glen Crute to keep out Vikings.
In midfield and up front Ben Jones, Chris Bradley, Sott Bradley, David Mooney and Bradley Armour were able to maintain pressure on the visitors.
As a result Knights were able to go ahead early when Scott Bradley stroked the ball passed Chris Nicholls in the Viking goal.
Kights were surprisingly

After the break Knights did not seem to be a man down as they pushed Vikings all the way and for once were able to benefit from fresh legs on the bench with Mick Paay and Alex Field replacing Ben Jones and Glen Crute.
Despite the one sided flurry of yellow (and red) cards issued throughout the game, midway through the second half David Mooney was rewarded for his efforts when he slotted home Knights second and his 9th. league goal for 2011.
Knights Coach Ben Smith put on Dustin McMahon to replace Scott Bradley and would have been happy as the final whistle sounded with 3 points and a gutsy 2-0 victory.
