Well I emailed them with a concern that I had, I had a follow up phone call that day.

They're not perfect, far from it, but in my case all questions were answered.

Click on an email then ctrl+a and then the delete button... All those emails will magically disappear.
Most people are just as afraid to talk to their club in fear of repercussions.

Surely you cant expect the FFSA to follow a NSW biased curriculum to the letter do you? It will not work for SA in it's current format and neds to be tweaked for our game.
Taking what they can from the curriculum and customizing it for our game is a good thing I reckon.
Is your club doing the curriculum? It had a pretty good program a few years ago but let that fall to the wayside.
Jeda wrote::?: is FFSA training beter than club  not by what is on show atm
Which club you comparing to? There are clubs out there with 250 juniors @ $700+ each for development. That's a lot of development    Makes me laugh so hard when I hear some clubs and people rant about development.
Jeda wrote::?: are State teams value for money  only if your a sucker like my brother
as above.
Is your club or any other any better?
Is a player better off training with equally skilled players week in week out under a consistent coaching program....or be forced to put up with players who only make the team because dad is a coach, committee person son/daughter as we see all too often around most clubs?
Jeda wrote:Who is the FFSA Development department accountable to??????
Any one who takes the time to contact them. Who are the clubs answerable to? Not hte parents that for sure. Sadly there are clubs out htere who go by the old diplomacy of "If ya dont like it then ......F" (I mean leave)
The pathways are clear and transparent, albeit hard to get through.
Few clubs follow through with junior development or make way for real junior opportunities.
Most of the big clubs just spread the cash (mostly stolen form the junior ranks) so they can get the "win win win-grin grin grin" and only consider the junior ranks as cash cows for that is what they are.

Remember the old saying - "People in glass houses" mate "people in glass houses"
If you want to make a difference then let me know, but you have to put your club, your prejudice and KPI's aside for the good of the game and kids..

:P all FFSA training, have you gone & had a look or talked to people out there :?: it's a joke  no coerver skills, goes longer than curriculum recommendation, player game time inconsistent, no practice of corners & free kicks, very little feedback, no theory
