the incident didn't look that bad but has obviously done some terrible damageValencia suffers horror injury
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed Antonio Valencia had suffered a suspected dislocation and fracture of his ankle during the Champions League draw against Rangers.
The winger was carried off on a stretcher with an ankle injury after an innocuous-looking sliding challenge from Kirk Broadfoot in the second half of the goalless draw at Old Trafford.
Ferguson told Sky Sports: "He has gone to hospital. It looks as if it is a dislocation and a fracture.
"It's a bad one, it will keep him out for a long time. He seemed to dig his toe in the turf."
hope he has a speedy recovery, a bad player to lose through injury for United

Should have been 10-1, I feel like Messi and Xavi are relied on heavily though, would be interesting to see who fills in those gaps when they're gone. They'll NEED Fab soon, biscuits isn't good enough.topgun-jimmy-aufcs wrote:couldn't beleave we just couldn't score,

Awful, awful injury to Valencia. I felt pretty off when I saw it.
Rangers practically choked the penalty box and gave them no real chances to shoot, either. Wasn't a good day at Old Trafford.

When Messi's gone? What, in 15 years time?Litmanen wrote: Should have been 10-1, I feel like Messi and Xavi are relied on heavily though, would be interesting to see who fills in those gaps when they're gone. They'll NEED Fab soon, biscuits isn't good enough.
Does Panathinaikos even have any Greek players?

Those were my first thoughts. And I'm pretty sure it was the same thought everyone at the stadium was having at the time, too.t9rres wrote:season over by the looks of itSteelinho wrote:Awful, awful injury to Valencia. I felt pretty off when I saw it.

Decent result for Spurs away at Bremen, can feel a bit annoyed coz we threw away a 2-0 lead but on the balance of things i'll take that point definetly. Good that Inter and Twente drew aswell, everyone stays on level pegging for now..

A good day considering how hard it is to play away in Europe. Undecided on the other game, are Twente better then expected or Inter alot poorer? Probably the latter.SpursOnTheRise wrote:Decent result for Spurs away at Bremen, can feel a bit annoyed coz we threw away a 2-0 lead but on the balance of things i'll take that point definetly. I was more referring to the aging Xavi, who has to play so many games.
Lol, Their keeper maybe?

4 Greeks in starting lineup; another 2 came off the bench.

29 shots to 1 (and the 1 was a goal)
603 to 89 completed passes

talk about complete and total domination from Barcelona

Re: Champions League 2010/11
Govou took that really well also. The Messi goal with the 2 one-two's was like watching FIFA 10.

Oh, and my word. Arsenal this morning.......brilliance.
You may say it was only Braga, but, you gotta beat what sides are put against you. Ask Man Utd supporters

Re: Champions League 2010/11
That in itself is unusual enough. It's one team, and one team only. None of this multiple teams bullshit.Chaos wrote: Up to you but an unusual choice for teams

Well as we are in the Europa comp this year I would guess we have not played yet... For a team with 4 titles to their name you sure are a cocky little prick... I can almost take the crap from Man U fans as they have equalled the 18 titles but I am not going to take it from the Cash Cows of the South ....

Perhaps we should do away with records, club histories, trophy cabinets.......
