That is quite a serious accusation which I will gaurantee is not at all true in the slightest - I doubt very much that there are any coaches of any team that do that - this is amateur league FFS.
It's not an accusation it's a statement based on how the contrast of the game changed from the first to the second half. I couldn't give a rats arse what your coach told u at half time.
Is the captain bit a joke?
If your captain was the the tall defender with the English accent and a commanding presences? He seemed to control Downs when they stated to get a bit undisciplined.
Just quietly I thought #6 was a classy player and had some great 1 touch play through the midfield.... Not the opponent you want to play on every week..
Shhh...his ego is big enough  IF only he could play poker that well...

Certainly seems like an accusation to me.........and if you couldn't give a rats then why are pasting it all over a forum? Maybe you realise what a rash statement it was after all? Numpty.

If it was an accusation then I would have heard it in the flesh from the coach. Accusations are based on facts my friend and I have none to show. If it pleases you I can retract my statement and put forward that Downs came out in the second half and played like dirty hacks. Thats based on my own experience as I can only speak for myself... :P

Actually disregarded the linesmans flag because I was confident it was in the box. And was confirmed to me by the Ref from the first team game. Only need to use linesmen when in any doubt. I had no doubts.
King Enrick who the hell is Ross County?

Actually told Fulham players before the game that I play advantage and no back chat. What do you think happened all game? Plenty of lip and calling for fouls when they were in possesion? As a player or ref or spectator the worst thing is listening to a whistle every 10 seconds, if your fouled and have the ball it is not unnoticed it is your advantage, use it. As I said it was a fair result as no team were dominated and neither team reached their potential.

I agree with everything you state in regards to the result but the penalty. I was a Fulham player 2 meters from the foul that took place. Are you saying that you or anybody else had a better vantage point them me??? Your were more then 30 yards away. I know you will never concede because the only way I'd be wrong is if I were lying. I'm not asking you to believe me I'm asking you to concede that you could have been wrong. Who knows, if you paid a free kick they might of scored and it would have been the right result for a foul on the edge of the area.

i thought it was a smart well taken goal not soft
It was soft in the fact that the marking was bad and the keeping wasnt much better... and 30 yards is a bit rich

its a team from the north of scotland. it seriously never ceases to amaze me how many token supporters are out there who's geography only goes as far as ibrox and parkhead. (just incase ya weren't sure, the first one is where rangers play. :D

Grove 2 v ISC Raptor 1

A great hard fought win by the boys, after going down to 10 men in the first 5 we were on the back foot straight away but we dug dip and controlled most of the game. ISC took the lead just after half time with probley the only chance they had all game. With only 20 to go we got a free kick outside the 18, Truckie put the ball to the back post and Docherty won the header to bring us level, with 5 to go Antman out jumped the kepper (X AFL player Nathan Basset) to header home the winner!

marooned loves nothing more than friendly banter and I sure i will hear plenty of it next week. The only reason I reffed is because our two current club refs are unavailable. Today I can hardly walk but I will be better as soon as the medication kicks in. I think your performance as a ref can be judged by the handshakes you get after the game. I think I shook all of the Fulham boys hands.

I would also just add that i think Fulhams first team has immense talent and will tear strips of many teams this year, just caught us on a very good day.

The ref calls it the way he sees it, its also the same with all A Grade refs.....As mentioned earlier, if he didn't referee you wouldn't have had a game! Jebus, stop bitching and take some tuffn the f*ck up pills!

god help us if maco's win a game, anyone would have thought that you guys just won the league with the draw. Credit must go to your striker who took both chances of the game well. Bring on Friday night now for Vista, local derby under lights @ TTG should be a belter, both coming off disappointing results will want to bounce back.
maybe maco's can lend vista that striker to help out in the flogging you guys will get friday night, might have to come watch and cheer on the vista boys!!!!
I must admit, watching the game from the outside it looked like the Vista A's swapped shirts at half time. Very good first half with a few chances that they should have put away. Dodgy keeper for Maco's wasnt tested much after that.
Maco's walked all over Vista 2nd Half to the amazement of the crowd, and i do agree, very well finished chances by the striker for maco's especially his 2nd. Did shut the crowd up with that strike.
And that's the game, if you have the chance you need to put it away and well Maco's did.
Will be a blinder on Fri night and will definately be watching. Vista need to improve.......

There were some familiar faces in the crowd a few fellow Evertonians......
Oh i shut them up alright! Think they fell in love with my boots after that one haha!

I for one did shake marooned's hand after the game. Regardless of how I think of how he preformed on his decision making because it is a thankless job and not many people put their hand up to do it. We were pissed off with our own ref in the last round last year for a similar incident.

All in all I am very sore player at work today. The decision didn't matter in the end but if the penalty was not saved we would have been livid. I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot downs would have been very vocal indeed.

FYI It was marooned that opened with rant on our Fulham midfield (which is apparently just one player) - which I cant really comment on because I didn't witness it first hand but I will say this #6 can be a little vocal sometimes but I believed this was one of his good games (vocally). bigpond brought up the penalty decision and I have just backed him up. that is all.

Good luck against the farm boys! :D

Pretty sure he knows who Ross County are and where Rangers play - it's called irony. Look it up, if you can read, or maybe get a grown up to help you.

No 6 was in my ear all game and I was very leniant with him, late in the second half when I booked your Fair haired lad for diving in the box no. 6 called me a cheat so I booked him too. He deserved it and actually was a hinderence to his team mates because of his mouth. Throughout the game he was complaining about how bad amateur league standards are, as if he could play at a higher level.

PS the dive was a classic and would have made the olympic diving team with that effort. Both teams and me had a chuckle about it except for no. 6.

I sent a Parafield C team player off two years ago for continuous complaining about my refereeing, after the game he apologised and he had a beer in the club with me, amazingly he was born two streets away from me in Scotland and knew my relatives.

Ingle Farm vs Florina was an interesting game.

First 15-20 minutes, Florina pretty much had Farm pinned back in their own half, made life very difficult to play out as the Farm we getting goal kick after goal kick, with Big Bert winning quite a few of the headers, with the Florina midfield/forwards mopping up the second ball, till they got hit with the sucker punch which took the wind out of their sails a bit.

Farm went up very early and scored in the second half which would've hurt Florina, and it could have been 3-0 if it wasn't for Farm's left winger not being able to cross a ball.

Florina had quite a few freekicks/corners and with AV over the ball whipping in quality balls, sooner or later one was going to go in. Farm fell asleep for a moment, Florina played the short corner, AV whipped it in and TE got onto the front post for the header.

Luckily for Farm, they scored again with 5-10 minutes to go to knock the stuffing out of Florina again as they just bombed long ball after long ball into the box which pretty much suited the farm, despite having two quite short stoppers.

On another day, it could've been quite a few more goals for both sides, and by the sounds of the club song after the match, the Farm really enjoyed that win.

I don't think people should comment on referees, so I won't :)

Thanks to those who stuck around after the match for a few tasty beverages and snacks, looking forward to the chicken wings and spit in the corresponding fixture.

I can see your not working right now, Mr Dickman is never wrong. Remember being at the races once and he called a dead heat. He was spot on, funny thing was they still had three furlongs to go! 8)
