ESPN2 commentators have shown the replay and no player was off side. Toni was 1 metre on side.

Italy have had a bit of luck as well.....Chivu free kick *doonk* hits the post, but yeh it was onside....laugh so hard if Italy draw with Romania, Netherlands beat France and then Netherlands gift the win to Romania. Spain v Romania in the quarters

Isn't it funny when a penalty is given for a defender pulling the striker down, you get Toni/Grosso/quagliarella all diving for a penalty. If Luca Toni is a great striker he would've fended off his defender and bagged the goal to give Italy an un-likely win. Instead he does the typical Italian thing and holds onto the defenders arm and dives. Useless.
Great save from buffon, 1st class tonight. As was Lobont in the opposing goal.

The defence of italy definitely looked shaky but alot better than against the dutch. Staying alive travoltas

Im having a laugh lol ...
and the way they dive is funny, make the game more amusing ..

Apparently the azurri fans on this site and probably around the world totally refute and resent this line of thinking. Now I ask this of il duco and co are things getting desperate at the moment and tell me this win lose or draw for the French next up, when they play the world champs in a few days time how much pleasure do you think Henri and co will get from being responsible to see your sorry arsis be knocked in the first round?
