So you don't support Liverpool you just "follow" them? :?

Don't know what's worse being a supporter or a follower :P

how is a follower "worse" than a supporter?!?!

i make the distinction in that i have a more emotional connection to Lazio cos thats where my family is from and thats the first football team i knew i had to support. i love Liverpool, I follow their results and news and player movements etc etc but the emotional attachment of where my roots come from is there (well i hope not!), i jsut love to follow the team. is your family from Milan 97?

obviously the follower comment was lost on you. i.e I would rather be a shepherd than a sheep that blindly follows.

Sounds like you're a two timer. The whole idea of being able to support more than one team passionately is lost on me. You could explain it until you're blue in the face and I still wouldn't get it.

Is my family from Milan? Not sure what you mean, Milan is that filth of a football club run by the media magnate/ politician/ wherever else I can make a buck Berlusconi, but if you mean the city Milano then no.

My family is Australian through and through and proud of it. Do I have family that live in Milano yes, are they Interisti yes, have I been there many times for extend periods of my life yes, have I been a regular in CN yes.

However my reasons for following Inter have nothing to do with family although admittedly early childhood memories of Milano may have been factor.

Ronnie wrote:we arent talking about the heysel incident, we are talking about the hillsbrough disaster.
the heysel incident is one that club officials and past legends of both clubs have worked to build better relationships of the two clubs.
the hillbrough disaster is another incident all together, where it was far from the fault of the liverpool supporters, but in actual fact, that of the police and security at the ground.
too many people were let into the stadium at that end, and once they had recognised this, for some reason they decided to lock the gates, some say to not let any more people in, but how were they supposed to get out. to see images and hear stories of women and children dieing are not good for anyones ears.
you may not ever know what this sort of thing means to people until you go to a memorial service and get some kind of idea for yourself.

OH TURN IT IN!!

pissed scousers turning up without tickets and forcing their way into the ground was nothing to do with it I suppose.
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:

Costa: One Lunch

oh and ban marco, i mean how dare he upset some poor little sniverpool supporters. You all need to fucking lighten up.

This is why liverpool will always be known as sniverpool and victimpool. Where's Boris Johnson when you need him?

I can live with that.

Perhaps you could educate me and explain how liverpool fans are always innocent aren't they.

Heysels was chelsea fans
hillsborough was the police's fault.

:?

It's time to take some acceptance in your own part in these events. The facts are you played your part in both disasters. Learn from it and ensure it never happens again.

So because he likes stirring the English and prefers Serie A to the EPL then he should be deported

Here's an insite for you this website is based in Australia nothing to do with England. Hawkesy will vouch for that

Only an ignorant red neck racist could come up with such a tripe comment.

Everything to do with England, we own australia.

As for the people getting upset, how many of them are actually English. Scousers aside, the English love a good joke and can't take it even if it's at their expense. I would suggest it's the aussies with anglo backgrounds that cannot take the humour.

Capital A ffs! and we only let that stuck up mole be head of state as a token gesture until Rudd gets in decent legislation for the new republic.

Agree regarding the English, I've meet many through work & travel and love the banter and drinking sessions after work, problem with the redneck 2nd generations here is that they've got an inferiority complex. Not our fault our parents were to proud to accept public housing.
