The event brought together some of the best coaching minds in the country to present their philosophies on the game.
Matildas Coach and Asian Football Confederation Wome's Coach of the Year, Tom Sermanni, presented on the Australian team's recent performance at the FIFA World Cup in China, illustrating some of his ideas and techniques with a collection of NTC players on the pitches at St Monica's.
FFA National Coach Education Manager Kelly Cross presented on the national program moving forward as well as taking the conference through a FIFA Technical Report on the Argentina national team, giving an insight into the technical break down of the side.
There was live game analysis of Melbourne Victory's loss to Queensland Roar, while VIS Head Coach Ian Greener spoke about his latest work with the best of Victoria's youth.
Sports Phycologist Kate Vrljic's talent development paper sparked some in depth debate while some further national perspective was offered by Footbal NSW's Tony Judge who delivered an overview of the state's Development Program.
Victorian Coaching and Education Manager Harry Bingham teamed up with Melbourne Victory Goalkeeping coach Steve Mautone in a number of practical exercises while FFV Elite Consultant and former National Youth Coach Ange Postecoglou detailed the theory and practise of the state's new V Elite program.
FFV thanks all presenters and attendees for their input into a successful weekend that will lead to further development in Victoria's grassroots coaching ranks.
