I think it's 10% with a minimum of 3,000. So for clubs with small stadia, that's a good chunk of their seating.Nicky Tanner wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 7:56 pm Is it a fixed number of seats or a percentage of the capacity?

Leeds going down was the most preferred (for me).

Happy days.
Spurs win, but avoid the dreaded wanky conference thing, and dirty Leeds go down.

A rebuild needed so I'm not expecting much for the next couple of seasons tbh, hopefully Arsenal do a Leicester, have one good season and then go down in the next five years.

Re: EPL 22/23
They've always been the poorest out of the Big 6, that's just the way it is. They get second dibs on players after the bigger clubs have had their bite, but the reality is that their recruitment under Steve Hitchin has been largely abysmal, now gone. We mostly wasted the money we got for Bale, and have mostly wasted the best years of Harry Kane. Who's to blame? I can't say I have any idea about the internal workings of the club, but the buck generally stops at the top.
Levy has built them a world class stadium and they're on a sound financial footing, but I'm suspicious that he gets involved in stuff he knows sweet FA about.

Re: EPL 22/23
Net spend is the only meaningful way to express expenditure. I'm sure if there was a table for net spend in the last 15 seasons, Spurs would be well down the list and most of those they did splurge big on were bang average players. Whomever looked at them playing and thought they were worth big money was a poor judge.Victoria's Secret wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 5:14 pm this table wouldn't lie.....

EDIT: Just found a 20 year net spend and Spurs were eighth, where they finished this season.

Net spend is bollocks - you could sell your mercedes and buy 6 trabants and have a great net spend but have to deal with the dross you bought.Nice One Cyril wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 6:09 pmNet spend is the only meaningful way to express expenditure. Not really, you cannot spend money you don't have, so net spend is important, unless of course you are an oil Sheikh. Your point about what you do with that net spend is another argument altogether.Raich Carter wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 8:22 amNet spend is bollocks - you could sell your mercedes and buy 6 trabants and have a great net spend but have to deal with the dross you bought.Nice One Cyril wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 6:09 pmNet spend is the only meaningful way to express expenditure. No, they are just an odious lot who seem to have some sense that they entitled to be some power in football. They haven't won anything for 70yrs. Personally, I find it funny how they talk about football in the NE being so passionate. Not seen that when I've been up there. Everyone forgets the crap crowds they used to get.

I'm sure theorakle would sell it to the family who needed it the most, even if he was down a dollar.
