We would like to announce the appointment of the 2023 WNPL Head Coach, Tom Monsigneur.

Tom was assistant coach of the 2022 Comets WNPL team supporting John Panagaris. Tom was a key member of the WNPL staff helping them to achieve club history with our first appearance in finals.

In his playing career, Tom played many Senior games for South Adelaide.

Showing an interest in coaching at the age of 19, Tom has been an assistant Senior coach for Cove Reserves, assistant Senior NPL coach for South Adelaide, Senior coach for Cardijn Old Collegiates and Senior coach for Southern Knights.

He also has his own small business, TM sports, supporting both entry level and inclusive coaching programs across various sports.

Tom recently stated that he has never loved a role more than he has in 2022 with the Comets WNPL team and he can’t wait to see what this group of special young ladies can achieve.

We wish him the very best for 2023 and beyond.

Adelaide Comets is very excited to announce and welcomes our new WNPL assistant coach Chrissa Pavlomanolakos.

Chrissa comes with a wealth of experience having played Women’s Football for the last 18 years. She has played and captained West Adelaide between, 2014-2019, and most recently at Salisbury Inter, where as a player she was a key part of the team who achieved the treble in 2021, winning the Football SA Cup, WNPL League and the Grand Final.

Chrissa who attained her C coaching licence in 2018, has been part of the FSA junior girls SAP program, the Regional Girls State U17 team in 2018 and the U16’s in 2019. In 2021 Chrissa coached the Salisbury Inters U15 junior girls team.

We wish her all the very best with the WNPL team for their 2023 season.

We would like to thank John Panagaris for his amazing achievement this year having our WNPL Women’s make Top 4 for the very first time in Adelaide Comets clubs history.

John would like to thank Adelaide Comets for giving him the opportunity to coach the Senior Women in 2022.

He felt so blessed to have coached a group of exciting, funny and brilliant players. Together, the team started a journey and finished by reaching the finals for the first time in the club's history.

John made an informal decision not to continue as Senior Coach in 2023, but to take up an exciting new role as Football Operations Women's Football.

We wish you all the very best in this exciting new chapter.
