I don't think he wants to stay in the A league and prefers to play overseas eg Holland, BelgiumMr Red wrote:IMO will be signed by Manchester City and then loaned back to Melbourne City.

Re: Arzani
He will find it difficult to get a contract on a foreigner's passport as he's not an exceptional player. Most 'Australians' that play in Europe have European ancestry and play on a local passport.churchill wrote:I don't think he wants to stay in the A league and prefers to play overseas eg Holland, BelgiumMr Red wrote:IMO will be signed by Manchester City and then loaned back to Melbourne City.
His future will more likely be in an Asian league.

Re: Arzani
A whisper I 'heard' on another forum in the UK suggested Arzani was to sign with ManCity and be loaned out to Leicester as part of the Mahrez deal.

Gee, the guy has a few good runs in a 3 match tournament and suddenly everyone wants him? Great prospect, but let's not go overboard here. Wish him well all the same.

You have made some massive statements (mostly totally stupid) but massive underachiever ????....zzz wrote:He's the same age as Mbappe.
Seems like a massive underachiever by comparison.
If Arzini was in the France side with better players around him, who knows. How can you compare. Mbappe is a great player for his age and potential.

Of the 6 other 19 year olds in WC squads, it's selective to pick the Frenchman.zzz wrote:He's the same age as Mbappe.

How would you compare Arzani to the Englishman, the Senegalese, the Moroccan, the Nigerian or the Panamanian?

So you're telling me the only reason Arzani isn't playing at a club like PSG is because he's not in the France side with good players around him?eagleboy wrote:You have made some massive statements (mostly totally stupid) but massive underachiever ????....zzz wrote:He's the same age as Mbappe.

You read that into my reply. Re: Arzani
if Arzani was brought up in the French system maybe he would be far more advanced and experienced than he is currently?

there's many good young players one could say that about.N5 1BH wrote:If Arzani was brought up in the French system he woul be a makeweight for the successful playersOld Master wrote:if Arzani was brought up in the French system maybe he would be far more advanced and experienced than he is currently?
Arzani is very good, but still young. He need many many many hours of the game.
He lacks football intelligence. He's skilful, quick, greedy & not a team player, but his improvisation is good, but time will tell.
As many here SHOULD know, luck, hard work, some kind of talent, attitude, fighting spirit. I believe he has a few of these aspects and will be a good player. But not a great player.

Re: Arzani
Is Arzani better the TAA, or Michael Owen, or Rooney at the same age?
He is another over hyped prospect who may do well but he he is hardly worthy of the adulation given to him. People need to stop praising players too early like they do.

Wells said!
But isn't that the way these days? Praise young kids at an early age, they get a massive ego and then when they fail, they blame the social pressures.
whatever happened to working hard to achieve things?

Just like happened to Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Ronaldo and Lionel Messi - total failures every one.

His contract is still owned by CFG, so nothing has changed.
