At least he'd be someone different!

Players need to hear a different voice. Different way of doing things.
It's all gone stale.

What a shambles that was again.
You have to ask how long it can go on without somebody doing something meaningful about it.

When you're the manager and you suffer a sixth away defeat, to one of the league's lowest teams, and your players look as if they're not even interested anymore, you've got problems beyond those which can be solved by the transfer market.

Looks like Giroud is gone as well. to Chelsea no less (Arsenal will have this month sold three players who scored 65 goals between them last season - all to rivals).
Unlike most people, I rated him and felt he doesn't get the credit he deserved.

On a brighter note, at least Walcott's started scoring again

I liked Theo, wish him well, much like Giroud a decent player not played to his strengths and mostly misused by a manager that’s obviously gone quite mad.

I see we will be subjected to another 3 years of Ozil mincing around in one of our shirts @ £350 grand a week, FFS. Aubameyang looks a bit of an arrogant knob, so I hope he’s got enough about him to make his runs and force the likes of ozil to play him in early.

I think it's telling that, despite being close to the end of his contract, Arsenal received zero offers for Ozil. Not too many teams in the PL can afford a luxury player like him.

not trolling, but how do you know they received no offers?

Wasnt he on a bosman, so could talk to clubs without Arenal knowing?

I agree.

I think Theo needed to separate himself from Arsenal and Wenger. I'm glad he's started off well with Everton.

Same with Giroud. Got so much flak from people cause he wasn't a Henry or an RvP. But he has some many good qualities that people ignored.
Not to mention his scoring record which people overlook

True that he could have talked to other clubs and I can't be certain, but do you really think that those conversations would have remained secret in the modern world? There wasn't even speculation in the papers about him.

Always gave the Goons the option of playing longer and a good deal for Chelsea. The only thing against him is his age tbh.

I thought papers only talked about teams and players of relevance.

Just when I think they cant annoy me any further, they put on a performance like that which makes me love them even more.

Though Everton were woeful.

Massive NLD this weekend

Aubameyang on the shoulder of the last man, Mkhitaryan's first time forward and square balls. Football can be a simple yet enjoyable game sometimes

Mkhitaryan will enjoy playing under Wenger's attacking offensive style

Much better than the dour defensive tactics employed by Mourinho

And offside or not, Aubemayang's finish was sublime

That could’ve been 4-5 nil but for Cech and some sloppy finishing.
We were barely ever in the game.

And why do we allow teams so much time and space on the ball?
Seems when there was an opportunity to press and apply pressure, we’re just happy to back off and allow Tottenham to play.

I feel for Lacazette at the end though.
The moment was set up perfect for him.

I can't laugh too much because it was a cup tie and they've qualified, but that performance is surely worth a little chuckle and a big happy face :D

It's times like this that I miss working in London

Yes we very nearly spursed that one right up, felt a little sick inside watching that. Is this how the spuds have been feeling all these long years? for sure it’s not nice being a laughing stock. We will probably have a blinder against city on Sunday though.

Did they play at Tottenham's ground? Maybe that's what ruffled them.

Wilshere's in the UK papers moaning about the ref being the reason they lost. Sounds just like his manager (long may he reign).

They're all on the bandwagon now.

Much as I loathe Arsenal with a passion, Wenger's been a great manager and it's unedifying to see the UK media, led by journos who know sweet FA about football, hounding Arsenal to sack him.

Four more years!!
