Then the late Groucho Marx and Rodney Dangerfield, purely for the one-liners.

Oddly enough, all yanks (more or less)!

Best comedies on TV, by and large, the English comedies, I'll give you them.
Steve Wright is English, used to be on Radio One in the afternoon.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA! The one I'm talking about anyway.

Only got to watch 30 minutes of play at the weekend  Good day though.

Conversation afterwards about the combined team and who get in.

Warner
Smith
Starc

Cook
Root
Stokes
Ali
Bairstow
Anderson
Broad

Missing one more batsmen, but looking at both sides and it's poor apart from what's there. Maybe an extra bowler and bring in Lyon?

So on this basis, you think you'll win now?

No, because Stokes won't be there and the game is played on grass, not paper.

Wtf? Paine as keeper and he hasn't kept in ages? Talk of Shaun Marsh again? Selectors have lost the plot if true!

Is that Tim Paine the Tasmanian?

Can't even get a game keeping for his state.

Starc, Warner and Smith the only ones in that side who really give me any concern.

Last series over here, Haddin saved australia in a lot of the first innings, I don't see you having anyone who can do that this time.

That said, woakes is bowling well but see off Anderson and Broad and I don't think our bowling stocks are very strong.

Shaun Marsh given yet ANOTHER chance. He must have many photos of selectors...........as for Paine, I don't mind him but why the flock would you select a bloke who is not a regular keeper? Selectors need to be drug tested.

It seems like not many people really care about this series. I can't wait.

Warner injured, will he make the test

Does that mean Renshaw comes in or as one media person said, Marsh to open.

If Warner cant play, Renshaw would make more sense, especially in Brisbane. BUT these selectors love the Marsh name so much, they'll likely get Shaun to open and rush in Mitch to bat at six!

Looks like australia will be dishing up a very green pitch for this 1st test, unless they're intending to roll it for the next 20 hours

Should suit your seamers no end. We shouldn't be so kind to touring teams.

Same type of wicket that Lehman was looking for when last in England

Cook says he'd be happy with a draw here. Will be interesting to see how he goes with that mindset (unless the tropical weather dominates in any way). If only he could have Boycott as his opening partner......

Australia haven't lost there for how long, I think most touring sides would be happy with a draw.

It's a result type pitch and either side could make big ground early on. Why not go for the win, or at least tell yourself that?

Both sides will go for the win but both sides would probably also be happy with a draw to start the series and not be 1-0 down.
